Villa Golondrina is tastefully furnished and boasts all mod cons including Wii game and wide screen tv with dvd, multi disc cd player, ceiling fans in most rooms and air conditioning in the main bedrooms.
On the ground floor you will find a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom and a very spacious double bedroom with its own en suite and a triple sofa bed, an ideal family suite. There is also a kitchenette and breakfast area on this level.
Upstairs on the main level there is a further double bedroom, a well equipped kitchen and a large bathroom. The large living room and dining area lead out onto a bright and airy covered pool terrace where you can relax in total privacy.

The beautiful very private swimming pool is 30 feet long and 16 feet wide and incorporates Roman steps and fountain, the pool can be heated and the pool terrace has its own outdoor shower and is well equipped with sun loungers and parasols etc. The poolside attracts sunshine all day long, in summer from 9 am til 8 30 pm. The swimming pool requires no harmful chemicals like chlorine etc as we have fitted a computerised salt water and cleansing system, this is much kinder to the environment and also to your skin and eyes, there is very little hint at the presence of salt and many of our previous guests have re booked for the pool alone.
The villa is set in a very peaceful urbanisation yet very private with no near by overlookers and is protected from the street by an 8 foot high wall and driveway gate, there is room for 2 cars on the private drive which is tastefully planted with palms, bird of paradise and jasmine plants. From the drive to the top level you take a small set of stairs down, 5 in all, so access is suitable for certain disabled people.
The villa is ideal for any age group and we have taken safety in mind for children, we even provide non breakable glasses and crockery for use around the pool

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Benissa and Moraira are situated on the northern Costa Blanca coast in Spain about 50 miles north of Alicante which is the nearest airport. The towns are awash with villas ideally situated between a coast with sandy beaches and rocky coves and the mountains of the Marina Alta, the climate is ideal for holidays and all year round living.
The World Health Organisation has identified this area of Spain as having as near to an ideal climate as possible, being neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter. Moraira, an ancient fishing port has become a busy yet pleasant resort which is best summarised by what it doesn't have, there are no high rise buildings, no large hotels and no noisy nightclubs.

We stayed here as a group of four adults and three young children, and had a fabulous week over the Easter weekend. We had hot and sunny beach days, and a couple of showery days which we used to explore the area. We loved the clean family friendly beaches, and the more private quiet beaches - still only a ten minute drive away. The local supermarkets were great - well supplied and cheap. The pool got sun all day long, while the villa remained in cool shade, and we arrived to a full fridge (inc beers and wine!), and everything we could have needed from films and books to nappies and highchairs. Definitely needed a car as the house is quite high up in a lovely quiet street - perfect for families or groups looking for a relaxing break. |
