About the home

Casita Vida is a modern 1 bedroom holiday apartment in a residential area of Moraira. It is in a block of only 3 apartments and has been furnished and equipped by the owners to English 4 star standard. The living area is bright and spacious with comfortable sofas and patio doors opening on to the sunny terrace which is perfect for al fresco dining. The huge communal pool with pool sde bar, is a short stroll from the property.
It is 3 kilometres from Moraira centre and the beach, 3 kilometres from Javea golf course and close to restaurants and shops. The apartment has Air conditioning to cool you on those hot sultry Mediterranean nights or if you prefer you can sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down over the mountains.

The entrance is from a delightful terrace with table and 4 chairs ideal for al fresco dining. The terrace faces west and is in full sun from mid day onwards. For those who prefer shade there is a large wind-out sun awning. Two reclining chairs are also provided.

The living area is very spacious with 2 comfortable sofas, dining area with glass and wrought iron table and 4 chairs together with a stylish open plan kitchen.There is a TV an DVD player. (Limited TV channels)

The kitchen has a halogen hob and electric oven with large fridge freezer ,electric kettle, toaster and granite work tops. There are utensils to satisfy the most ambitious cook and plenty of storage space for food. The living area is air conditioned.

The bedroom has ample wardrobe space and two single beds with luxury mattresses which are 2 metres long ( unlike most Spanish beds) and can be pushed together if required. The bathroom is en suite with basin , toilet, bidet and bath with glass screen for the excellent shower. The bedroom is air conditioned and also has a ceiling fan

Underneath the apartment is an open fronted garage and large laundry room with washing machine , drying rack, tumble dryer and iron and ironing board,

There are nice views from the property over roof tops to the mountains beyond. Sunsets can be fantastic.

A great feature of the development is the large community pool with poolside bar(not open in low season). There are also tennis courts for hire.and crazy golf. We believe this apartment is ideal for 2 people.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

In the beautiful northern part of Costa Blanca with dramatic mountains forming a backdrop to verdant valleys planted with vines and oranges opening out towards the sea with its fabulous beaches and rocky coves.

Places to Visit

There are many places to visit just a short drive away. Javea is another coastal resort which boast a long beach lined with bars and restaurants. Sampling tapas in the bustling old town area of Benidorm is very popular with the Spanish and a great experience. Calpe has a large fishing port lined with restaurants and is a must for seafood lovers Just a few miles inland the mountains rise majestically hiding lush valleys and mountain top villages such as Guadalest. The waterfalls at Font d’Algar are well worth a visit with their cool rushing streams and shady footpaths.

It is worth mentioning that all the towns in the area have weekly outdoor markets with Moraira having one of the best on Friday mornings in the main car park.

The historic cities of Alicante, Valencia and Murcia are ideal for a longer excursion.

The Moraira / Villotel area

Moraira is an attractive small resort in the heart of the Costa Blanca. It is 80 kms north of Alicante airport and 110kms south of Valencia airport and just 20 minutes drive from the A7 motorway.

It has grown from a fishing village to a small but exclusive year round holiday destination popular with visitors from all over Europe. Although the fishing port is still thriving there is now an impressive marina packed with yachts and a large variety of restaurants bars and shops to satisfy the tastes of visitors and residents alike. Strict planning laws have prevented the building of high rise hotel and apartment blocks which has resulted in Moraira retaining the charm of its fishing village heritage and sets it apart from other Costa Blanca resorts.

The restaurants in Moraira and the surrounding area cater for all tastes. Most are typically Spanish in character serving traditional dishes and superb sea food and most offering excellent value for money. Other restaurants offer a more international cuisine and of course many of the inviting bars serve snacks throughout the day.

Although Moraira is much more than a Spanish beach resort its 3 main sandy beaches are excellent and have been awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness. As an alternative there are many rocky coves along the coast offering secluded bathing opportunities in the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean

Moraira enjoys an enviable climate with an average of 325 sunny days each year supporting its claim to be an all year round resort. The World Health Organisation have said that the climate in this part of the Costa Blanca is one of the most equitable in the world.
