La Lagarta has been recently refurbished to a high standard; our rooms are in a suite attached to the main villa, you will have your own front door with a few steps down to your terrace, where you can enjoy a continental breakfast in the sun at whatever time you choose.
In summer we have a Double and a Kingsize rooms available, we can also make the double room into a twin if you prefer.
In winter the king size bedroom is available and the double room becomes a lounge area for breakfasts and relaxing if the weather is cooler.
You are welcome to sit and relax on your terrace or in the garden and have some use of the pool during the day. We are 5 minutes walk from local amenities and 25 minutes walk from Moraira town and beaches.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca has a lovely all year round climate recognised as one of the best in the world by the World Health Organisation. In winter the Costa Blanca has almost as many sunny days as in the summer and is famous for its tourism, and here you will find beautiful sandy beaches, rocky coves, mountains, lovely countryside, orange and olive groves, in fact a host of things to enjoy!
Take a drive to the Jalon Valley for mountains and countryside picnics and walks; or to Guadalest with its 11th Century castle and 12th Century jail.
Then there is Valencia, recent host to the Americas Cup where you can visit the Americas Cup Marina, or the fantastic architecture that is the City of Arts and Sciences, L'hemisferic, and L'Oceanografic aquarium complex. You can also take the train to Barcelona from Valencia and be in another fantastic city in 3.5 hours!
Moraira / Moravit area
In Moraira town adjacent to the castle is the busiest blue flag beach beach – L’Ampolla; the quieter El Portet and Plagetes beaches are easily reached on foot from the town. The coastline also has occasional rocky coves – providing perfect locations for sunbathing, scuba-diving, wind surfing, kite surfing and other water sports.
If you enjoy sailing - Moraira Sports Harbour and Yacht Club is ideal, with 620 berths, sailing school, repair yard and restaurants.
There is a supermarket within 2 minutes, and numerous bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk, including the new Café Del Mar bar/lounge where you can sip a cocktail and look out to sea. Moravit area offers an international array of bars and restaurants from Chinese and Nepalese to Italian, German and Swiss. All the amenities are within a 10 minute walk from the villa.
Benidorms nightlife, beaches, old town and bars as well as Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia And Terra Natur are 30 minutes away. Within 20 minutes you can also visit Javea, Altea and if you fancy a trip at sea - take a ferry to Ibiza, Majorca, Menorca and Formentara from Denia.

The bedroom doors have locks for your convenience and security of your valuables. The King is a light & spacious room with a ceiling fan and views to the rear garden; the smaller Double room has a portable fan for the hot summer months and views of the palm trees to the side garden.
Both rooms have blinds, mosquito nets, wardrobes, Radio/CD players, books, magazines, CD's and information on Moraira and surrounding areas.
There is a separate small kitchen with complimentary tea/coffee, the rooms share a shower room with sink, towel radiator and WC. Everything you need for the perfect continental breakfast will be in the fridge in the small kitchen so you can eat whenever you like on your own terrace...
Bed linen, bathroom towels and a hairdryer are provided. Beach towels are not provided.
Further details outdoors: The villa has completely secluded beautiful gardens with mature palms, shrubs and fruit trees (a lemon tree for the G&T!), a number of terraces, a chill out room by the pool and many shady spots beneath the palms. Patio table and chairs and BBQ provided. The 8m x 4m pool is available for your use until 2 pm (children must always be accompanied by a responsible adult).

The accommodation is all on one level and though there are 6 steps from the terrace it is suitable for the elderly.
We have 2 mountain bikes for hire for those sporty minded amongst you!

Prices in euros per room per night. To book we require a 25% non-refundable deposit via bank transfer/cash into our UK or Spanish bank, ie in sterling or euros, whichever is more convenient. Dates requested by phone will be honoured for 5 days, if there is no payment by this time the dates will be cancelled and re-advertised.
Final payment 4 weeks prior to your stay. If your dates are less than 4 weeks away full payment is required in order to book - 25% of which will be non-refundable.
Flexible changeover days; check out is by 11 am and check in not before 4pm. However we are happy to store your luggage prior to check in and after check out time so that you can go and explore.
October to March: The unit is let as a whole with one king-size bedroom, lounge area and small kitchen - euros 65 per night inc breakfast, 55 euros room only.
Smokers are more than welcome but must only smoke outside the villa (ashtray provided!!)
