Casa Nina apartment is situated in the quiet popular residential area of Buenavista, not far from the coast road which takes 10 minutes to the towns of Moraira and Calpe. The old town of Benissa is 15 minutes away over the mountain roads and the Jalon Valley where the local wine is produced is only 25 minutes. There are numerous restaurants, bars and supermarkets along the coast road which are minutes away by car.
Although 'Casa Nina' was originally a one bedroom apartment, a new second bedroom is being added for 2010. It can accommodate up to 4 people in double and twin bedded rooms (photo to follow for new bedroom). The apartment is ideal for either couples or families (children over 5 years of age) and there are different rates for 2 and 4 people below.
There are lots of small coves and beaches nearby and is an ideal holiday location for exploring the surrounding area. For house hunters looking for property in the area, this apartment would make an ideal base any time of the year. Likewise, anyone looking for somewhere to 'work' as well as relax for a few days or longer, Casa Nina provides free Wi-fi broadband internet in the apartment. An added bonus for guests, should they wish to bring their laptop to use.
The private swimming pool, patio and barbecue area exclusive to guests during their stay, is great for relaxing after a day out and is not overlooked.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Northern Costa Blanca area between Alicante and Valencia has one of the best coastlines. It has some lovely beaches and historical villages. The Jalon Valley region is well known for its wine-making and the area has some lovely small traditional Spanish villages. This part of Spain also has the advantage of being recommended by the World Health Organisation as being one of the healthiest places to live because of its climate. Mild temperatures in the winter make it an ideal location for short breaks and high temperatures in the summer make it great for holidays.
Moraira / Buenavista Benissa area
The coastline between Moraira and Calpe is very picturesque. There are many small secluded beaches and coves along the coast road. The up and coming town of Moraira, once a small fishing village has lost none of its charm. It has grown into a lively modern town with two lovely beaches, L'Ampolla and El Portet. There is also a marina, many different restaurants, bars and shops and on Friday there is a local market held in the town. It is ideal for all ages as there are plenty of activities in the area, ranging from watersports, snorkelling, walking, horse riding, golf, fishing, to name but a few. The nearest golf course is 5 minutes away by car at San Jaime which is just along the coast road towards Moraira.
During the month of June is when the Moraira 'Moors and Christians' fiesta is held. This is very traditional and is popular with locals and tourists alike. There are lots of different events during this fiesta period and on the last night there is a big parade around the town followed by a spectacular firework display.
Calpe which is just along the coast road in the opposite direction to Moraira is a larger town, split into three areas, a modern shopping area, a quaint old town housing numerous restaurants in its alleyways and a port area where there are lovely fish restaurants. You can see the fisherman with their catches unloading at the end of the day. Calpe also has two lovely long sandy beaches. You will see its landmark, the Penon de Ifach (also known as Calpe Rock) rising from the sea as you drive along the coast road.
The resort town of Javea is only 25 minutes away to the north of Moraira and is split into three areas, a lovely sandy beach and promenade with lots of restaurants and bars at the Arenal area , a typical old town with lots of traditional alleyways and a port area with a marina, a small beach and many shops and restaurants around. Javea also has its own golf course, situated on the Benitachell/Javea Road.
The Terra Mitica theme park is located approximately 30 minutes drive south from Moraira and Aqualandia water park and Mundomar sea life park are within half an hour also. These are all around the Benidorm area. Guadalest, a very old Spanish village inland high up in the mountains is an interesting place to visit and takes approximately 45 minutes. Another 'must' to visit whilst in the area, is Benidorm Palace, a dinner/show venue where you can have a meal and see a fabulous show. This is around 30 minutes by car. Viva Espana another dinner/show venue is also well worth the visit, this is situated at Oliva around 45 minutes north of Moraira.
How to get there
Most budget airlines, Easyjet, Ryanair, Flybe, BMI baby etc. fly into Alicante and Valencia airports.
Alicante airport is one hour from the Moraira/Buenavista area and Valencia airport is approximately one and a quarter hours away down the motorway. The tolls for the motorway are 4.20 euros to the Calpe/Altea junction and 5.65 euros to the Benissa/Teulada junction from Alicante and approximately 8.40 Euros to the Benissa/Teulada junction from Valencia.

Further details indoors: THE APARTMENT IS SELF-CONTAINED WITH IT'S OWN ENTRANCE FROM THE ROAD AND IS SEPARATE FROM THE MAIN VILLA ABOVE.
Just outside the apartment door guests can dine 'Al Fresco' under the covered Naya. Inside the apartment, the lounge/dining area and bedrooms have ceiling fans for the summer months. During the autumn/winter months heating is provided by oil filled electric radiators. English Satellite TV with stations including BBC and ITV and also free Wi-fi broadband internet access is provided in the apartment (for use with guests own laptop). Also there are a large selection of books, board games, Video and DVDs.
There is a welcome booklet giving details about the apartment and surrounding area and various maps and leaflets on different activities for guests use.
The apartment will be fully cleaned before the arrival of guests and there is a separate laundry room housing a washing machine, tumble drier, vacuum cleaner and sink, should anyone wish to use these facilities.
Further details outdoors: There is a private swimming pool and patio with table, chairs and sunloungers. A brick built traditional barbecue is also a feature of this area. The pool, patio and barbecue is for exclusive use by guests during their stay. The garden/pool area is surrounded by fruit trees and hedges for privacy and has the sun all through the day.
Parking is available on the quiet road outside the apartment entrance.

There is a welcome pack provided free of charge on arrival to include tea, coffee, water, juice, milk, wine, etc.
All linen and towels (except beach/pool towels) are also provided, linen will be changed weekly for guests stay of over one week and towels every few days if required.
Conditions
A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking and the balance to be paid on arrival.
Although smoking is not permitted in the apartment itself, it would be allowed outside the apartment under the covered naya.
We do accept families with children over 5 years old. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent, both inside and outside the apartment and especially in the pool.
