Home description

Apartment is well furnished and has stunning views over the Mediterranean. It has a large balcony with reasonable privacy and access to the shared twin infinity pools.The apartment is well equipped with TV, Fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine etc. and nicely furnished. There is airconditioning in two rooms.

It is located high on a hillside about one/two km from small shopping centres which have a supermarkets, restaurants, banks etc. The beach is at the bottom about 2 km away and has a carpark. The apartment has its own parking space and is the lowest on a terrace of three apartments and access is via 3 flights of steps.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The area from Valencia to Alicante is easily accessible from Cumbre del Sol by car and offers a wide variety of things to see and do. Within a few minutes drive there is golfing at Javea, several equestrian centres, good walks in the mountains , beaches and resort towns with good nightlife. Valencia and Alicante can both be reached in one hour and offer all the facilties of a major cities with good shopping, restaurants and bars. The area has both mountains and plains offering stunning scenery. The climate is good all year round with temperatures in the 30s in the summer falling to the late teens in the winter. Restaurants offering many types of cuisine abound with prices to suit most pockets; the food is always something to enjoy in this region. For train enthusiasts there is a local railway which runs through spectacular scenery from Denia to Alicante.


Moraira / Cumbre del Sol area

The nearest town, Moraira, is attractive and low rise with many restaurants (mostly on a lovely seafront), bars and shops plus a busy marina and small beach. It is about 10 minutes drive from Cumbre del Sol. Cumbre del Sol itself has a beach with a car park and some wonderful walks through the hilly countryside. There are shops and restaurants in the 2 small shopping centres plus banks and cash machines. The apartment itself is located in the highest area and affords spectacular views with Ibiza visible on some days. Facing south, it enjoys sunshine all day for those who like just to relax on the balcony or by the pool.

El Portet is close to Moirara and offers restaurants bars and a beach.

There are many villages and small towns nearby which are well worth exploring. Denia is a small port and resort offering the usual attractions. Benissa, inland is an unspoilt town with charming squares and streets (when you get away from the main road through the centre). Teulada is similar and worth visiting.

For the golfers there is a 9 hole golf course near Moraira - Club de Golf Ifach - it offers a spectacular view over the coastline to the Penon de lfach in Calpe ( a huge impressive rock at the bay). There is also Club De Golf De Javea just outside of Javea ( Xabia ) in direction towards Benitachell (Benitatxell) Being one of the smaller 9 hole golfcourses, it might be just the right kind of variety you are looking for, when you think you have played "them all". The two additional putting greens and the twenty bay driving range offer enough room to practice your golf swing.

Flights to Alicante are the most frequent but Valencia is a similar distance. Airlines such as BA, Monarch, EasyJet, XL all go to Alicante and very low fares are available if booked flexibly. You will definitely need a car in Cumbre del Sol and there are several hire companies at the airport. We recommend Record and their website is www.recordrentacar.com.
