Home description
Casa Salamanca is an impressive property with magnificent sea views. The villa is equipped with brand new settees, sofa bed, microwave and grill, washing machine, sun beds, bedroom furniture, bedding, towels (including BEACH TOWELS) and crockery, all to ensure a very enjoyable holiday for you. We have also just installed British satellite TV on all levels.
The villa benefits from its own private pool with Roman Steps and a depth of 1.5m at the shallow end and 2m at its deepest. Leading from the lounge is a spacious, covered 'naya' (terrace) with stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With 4 double and 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 shower rooms, the villa has exceptionally flexible accommodation which is ideal for 2 or even 3 families to share! Smaller groups are of course also welcome.
The villa is set in a quiet cul de sac on Montemar and is just 3 minutes drive from the Cala Baladrar pebbled beach. This beach has a lovely friendly atmosphere and has a beach bar which serves food as well as drinks and, in the Summer months, has a great barbecue.There are 3 other magnificent beaches along 8km of local coastline: El Portet, L'Ampolla and Platgetes.
The villa is only 7 minutes' drive away from Moraira, with its Friday market and many excellent restaurants for eating out. The villa is also only 5 minutes' drive from 2 large supermarkets.
Set in a lovely and peaceful part of the Costa Blanca, Casa Salamanca is only half an hour from Benidorm's very popular theme parks of Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia and Mundomar as well as its famous nightlife!

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The climate in the Alicante Region of the Costa Blanca is recognised as one of the best in the world by the World Health Organisation.
During the winter, the region has nearly as many sunny days as during the Summer!
There are well over 100 km of sandy beaches and rocky coves to explore; many of the beaches have been awarded the EU's Blue Flag for cleanliness and safety. This part of the Costa Blanca is mountainous, with cliffs and coves and a variety of pebble and sandy beaches.
All in all, Moraira is perfectly placed in a lush valley planted with vines. The mountainous region acts as a dramatic backdrop for the town and there are orange groves and almond trees in the foothills. The coast is rocky but with sandy coves and lovely coastal footpaths.
Moraira area
Moraira is on the South East coast of Spain between the larger resorts of Javea and Calpe. Well placed for access to both Alicante and Valencia airports, the area has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with beautiful and unspoilt scenery. Moraira, once a small fishing village, has developed into a very attractive, small holiday resort. Due to strict planning laws, the area still retains its charm, with privately owned villas dotted along the hillsides but with no package holiday hotels and very few apartments. It has an impressive marina, a wide variety of shops, water-side fish restaurants and bars which still retain their Spanish character.
Denia, with its 16th Century castle, is not far away either and is a delightful cosmopolitan town, rich in history and culture. Denia still has a working port and nearby a modern yacht marina. It has 20km of beaches, which are monitored by professional lifeguards, and which have been awarded the EU Blue Flag for cleanliness and safety. There are also plenty of watersports available. As well as the many boat trips to be enjoyed, it is also possible to take a ferry from Denia to Ibiza.
If you are happy to travel a bit further afield, try a trip to Altea. The Altea market, which is held every Tuesday, is definitely worth a visit. It's the largest on the Costa Blanca, taking up much of the sea front and selling everything from fruit and vegetables to clothing and home furnishings.
If you want to do something different, how about a trip to the beautiful and historic village of Guadalest? This village is about 35km from Casa Salamanca. Occupying one of the most stunning positions in Spain, Guadalest is perched on the pinnacle of a granite mountain, giving fabulous views across the valley carved out by the river from which the village takes its name. After negotiating the twisting roads that climb ever upwards to Guadalest, the breathtaking views make the drive worthwhile even for the most nervous passengers!
How to get there
Our lovely villa is only a 90km drive away from Alicante and can be reached in an hour by car.
Valencia airport is about 125km away, so the journey will take you about 1:30 by car.

Further details indoors: The villa is split into 3 separate and independent living areas so it serves as a 3, 4, 5 or 6 bedroom villa. The main villa consists of a very spacious main living area plus 3 bedrooms, one of these has an en-suite bathroom, a family bathroom, a well equipped kitchen, a fabulous covered naya and open sun terrace, both of which enjoy wonderful sea views.
On the next level down, there is a one bedroom self-contained apartment incorporating a lounge/dining room with open fireplace, a door opening onto one of the many sun terraces, a kitchen, shower room and a double bedroom. We have just equipped this apartment with a new sofa bed which now enables the apartment to sleep 4 if required!
On the lowest level there is a 2 bedroom self contained apartment including an open plan lounge / kitchen / diner, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom a further sofa bed and a shower room.
