Home description
This beautifully designed open planned villa is situated 50 minutes drive north of Alicante and 70 minutes drive south of Valencia, situated on the outskirts of Moraira, Javea and Benitachell. The villa will sleep up to six guests, a cot is available upon request. From the property and gardens there are stunning views across almond groves to Mount Montgo, otherwise know as the sleeping elephant. The villa stands on 631 square metres of land. There is a large sitting room area with dining room. Away from this area stretches the naya, just perfect for that afternoon siesta or sundowner cocktail before dinner. The 8m x 4m swimming pool and shower area stretch into the garden with its own terrace and lawn. On the ground floor is the fitted kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Also on this level are two further twin bedded rooms along with a large bath/shower room. On the first floor is the double master bedroom with bathroom en suite along with those stunning views. Within 10 minutes drive you can be in the centres of Moraira and Javea, where there are excellent blue flag beaches, shops, bars, restaurants, bowling greens, tennis courts and golf courses. A 25 minute drive will take you to Terra Mitica theme park for the more adventurous amongst you and also Mundomar, a marine and exotic animal park.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Villa is located on a secluded private development close to all the amenities of the area. The villa is almost equal distance from Alicante airport and Valencia airport. Valencia is a stunning traditional Spanish city steeped in history with cathedrals, museums and large shopping malls, along with the very popular modern Arts centre. Also famous for the America's Cup & for the first time the European Grand Prix in August. The lively resort of Benidorm is approximately 25 minutes drive with Terra Mitica and Aqualandia theme parks for the more adventurous. The Algar waterfalls are inland from Benidorm with beautiful pure crystal blue waters to bathe in, very popular and refreshing in the hot August months. The Jalon valley is a short drive inland famous for its vineyards and bodega’s, surrounded by mountains with breathtaking views across the region.
Moraira / Benitachell area
Moraira and Javea are located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, offering opportunities for walking, swimming, diving or simply relaxing in the guaranteed sunshine. Ideally located 10 minutes drive away within easy access to both of the resorts, Javea with excellent beaches and water sports and Moraira with its own marina and sandy beaches. For the golfing enthusiasts among you there are several well-established courses in the region. The villa is generously equipped and ideally suited to those wishing to enjoy the comforts of home in a peaceful location, but with all the benefits of nearby lively resorts. Most local towns have weekly markets with a variety of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. The peninsula's and areas such as Cap de le Nau and Cumbre Del Sol, offer magnificent views across to Ibiza and the famous Penon de Ifach at Calpe and inland to the Sierra de Bernia mountain range.

Casa Almendra is available for long winter lets over the months of November, December, January, February, March and April.
The climate along the Costa Blanca makes the villa an ideal location for a winter sun holiday with daytime temperatures reaching between 15 and 20 degrees. For your added comfort the villa is centrally heated with radiators in all areas.

The Villa was fantastic and the welcome pack great. We liked the gardens and the pool was a great place to cool down as the first week was near to 40C. I don't think the picture on the web does it justice and we found ourselves at home very quickly Roger and Jackie Thompson
Just a quick note to let you now how much we all enjoyed the holiday at Casa Almendra. The villa was perfect, especially for the kids. The facilities and location were second to none.
