Further details indoors:
Double doors from the ‘naya’ or covered terrace lead in to the main living area which is divided by wide arches into three sections - an exceptionally comfortable sitting room furnished with sofas and chairs and having a feature oval fireplace with gas fire, also a stereo system; a central dining area with refectory table and chairs; and a study area furnished with two more sofas, a small writing desk and having satellite TV, DVD and internet Wi-fi reception.
The kitchen is fully equipped to comfortably cater for eight, or more, people. The fitted cupboards are of limed oak with grey granite work surfaces. It also offers a new fridge/freezer, gas cooker with four-ring hob and double oven, toaster, food processor, coffee machine, etc: the next door ‘laundry room’ – also with similar limed oak cupboards and granite tops - houses a dishwasher and washing machine, a second fridge and microwave oven. A door leads out to the pool terrace.
The three bedrooms on this level are all tastefully furnished, spacious with large fitted cupboards and air-conditioned. Each one also has a large ceiling fan. Mosquito nets are fitted to all windows.
The master bedroom has a full bathroom en-suite; the second bedroom, with its own private balcony overlooking the sea, has an en-suite shower room. The third bedroom has double doors leading out to the garden and has a full adjacent bathroom. The fourth bedroom is downstairs and has a separate entrance from the lower garden. Like the others it is furnished with twin beds, has large fitted cupboards, mosquito nets over the windows and has its own air conditioning system. An en-suite shower room completes the accommodation.
A large covered terrace or ‘naya’ at the front of the villa offers fascinating views over and across the surrounding area and down to the sea. It has been built in the traditional Valencian style, high beamed ceiling and wide, open arches, and is amply furnished - a comfortable sitting area at one end plus large and small dining tables with seating for twelve or more. A spiral, wrought-iron staircase at the rear of the villa gives access to an open roof terrace that presents guests with more panoramic vistas.
Further details outdoors:
The lovely 10 x 5 mt swimming pool has integral steps that provide easy access to the water and has a depth of 1 mt extending to two at the deep end. It is surrounded by a large paved terrace area that provides plenty of space for sunbathing. Mature plants, trees and shrubs around the terrace give maximum privacy and seclusion. Numerous sun loungers, umbrellas and terrace table and chairs make this area ideal for those seeking all-day sun worshipping. A raised covered pergola affords yet more views of the bay and provides another outside dining or shaded sitting area.
The villa is surrounded by a landscaped garden that is carefully maintained throughout the year and stocked with a wide variety of mature shrubs, plants and trees typical of this region. It is gated (electric audio intercom system installed) and walled on all sides. A wide paved drive provides parking for two vehicles.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca is one of Spain's favourite holiday areas and is famous for its wonderful climate, scenery, interesting towns and its friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Alicante and Valencia are the two main cities of the region and their airports provide easy and reasonably priced access to the area, throughout the year, from most European cities.
The area offers plenty to see and do. The bustling coastal towns of Altea and Calpe to the south, Javea and Denia to the north are well worth a visit and situated only approximately half an hour's drive from the villa. Benidorm is around a 40 minutes' drive away. Here you will find a number of great activities for children (and adults), including Terramitica (Spain's answer to Disneyland), Aqualandia Water Park and Mundomar Marine Park (sea world). Valencia City is well worth a visit to see the City of Arts and Sciences and the spectacular aquarium 'Oceanografic'.
The Moraira / Tabaira area
Moraira is one of the most attractive and prestigious holiday resorts of the northern Costa Blanca. It is set in a large bay, with a soft sandy beach and breathtaking coastal views. Development has been very strictly controlled and so the village has retained much of its original charm and character. This, now vibrant and cosmopolitan, holiday centre offers a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and entertainments that are sure to suit all age groups and tastes.
Moraira developed as the fishing port for Teulada, and both the lookout tower (Torre-vigia) on Cap d'Or overlooking Moraira's El Portet beach, and the Castle are reminders of the past. The village has four beaches, each very different in character from the others. The beach of El Portet is the northernmost of these, situated in a sheltered bay; quiet, with clear water and a gently sloping seabed, it is ideal for children and safe for swimming. The town beach is a large sandy beach with a play area, beach bar and restaurant. Platgetes is smaller, quieter and part sand / part rock; the fourth beach, L'Andrago is composed of a mix of boulders and pebbles and is ideal for snorkelling. Both north and south of Moraira are many secluded bays and small coves that are well worth exploring. Calpe - approx 15 minutes' drive - has a long sandy beach that is usually busy in high season.
Many other types of recreational facilities are available locally: tennis, squash, go-karting, surfing and wind surfing, small boat and jet-ski hire, water skiing, scuba diving, also horse riding and cycling.
There are also 4 excellent golf courses in the area:
Within 10 minutes drive of the villa are Javea Golf Club situated between Moraira and Javea and San Jaime Golf Club situated between Moraira and Calpe. Both are open all year round and comprise 9 holes. The courses are easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, club bar and restaurant.
La Sella Golf Club is 15 minutes drive further inland and situated near the village of Jesus Pobre. This course has 18 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres. The course although flat, has many trees and water obstacles. Facilities include: driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Both Javea and La Sella clubs have tennis and squash courts.
Within a half hour drive north, in Oliva, is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course has 18 holes, par 72 and 7,051 metres and offers a shop, driving range, restaurant, and swimming pool.
