A one bedroomed luxury apartment funished to a very high standard with private swimming pool. Panoramic views of mountains and vineries from Calpe to Javea.
We are offering complementary breakfast, daily room service with fresh towels and change of sheets twice a week all at no extra cost. Thus enabling you to have the most relaxing time that Spain can offer. (Beach towels and sun lounger cushions also provided)
There is an option to sleep two more guests in the lounge area on a double sofa bed or twin z beds (not suitable for under 5's), please enquire re. availability and extra costings.
Location is three kilometers to Moriara centre with its sandy beaches, fishing port and many restaurants and bars. There are markets close by with fresh produce to tempt you, shops restaurants and bars within walking distance. Moraira has a Moors and Christains festival in June and a Fiesta in July.

There is a spacious lounge tastfully furnished with comfortable furnishings, 32" LCD satellite TV which includes English channels, a wood burner for those winter holidays and the dining area has a pine table with 4 chairs and a side board with plenty of storage.
A fully equipped open plan kitchen with large fridge freezer, electric hob, oven, granite worktop, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, juicer and microwave for sole use. There are more than adequate utensils and there is plenty of storage.
Air conditioned (extra charge) bedroom with large english double bed with thick mattress, large fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables with lights and a full length mirror.
Bathroom with wash basin, shower and wc.
Use of the utility room or service wash if required.

There is use of our private swimming pool for your sole daytime use with sun loungers for you to relax and enjoy the sun. You have your own terrace attractively furnished and your own barbecue for eating al fresco.

Moraira enjoys an enviable climate with an average of 325 sunny days each year which makes it an all year round resort. The World Health Organisation has said that the climate in this part of the Costa Blanca is one of the most equitable in the world.
Moraira offers 2 main sandy beaches which have been awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness, alternatively there are many rocky coves along the coast offering secluded bathing in the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean.
The Moraira / Villotel area
Moraira is a small unspoilt resort in the heart of the Costa Blanca and has retained its fishing village character.It is 80kms north of Alicante airport and 110kms south of Valencia airport. It is then a short drive of about approximately 15min from the AP7 motorway.
It has grown from a small fishing village to a small exclusive unspoilt year round holiday destination. There is a fishing port with a most impressive marina and restaurants and bars to cater for every taste .Strict planning laws have prevented the building of high rise hotels and apartment blocks which has resulted in Moraira retaining the charm of its fishing village heritage and sets it apart from the better known Costa Blanca resorts.
The restaurants in Moraira and the surrounding area cater for every taste from Spanish serving traditional dishes and fresh seafood which is excellent value for money through to international cuisine and tapas with a glass of wine is something not to be missed.
Moraira has a local market every Friday or you may like to be more adventurous and try Teulada on a Wednesday or Benissa on a Saturday these are very Spanish markets but they do understand English. Both these towns are well worth visiting.

I stayed at this apartment with my husband and two children who are 5 and 11 it is a lovely and spacious and extremely clean. We had breakfast catered for us every morning with a selection of lovely things to eat which included freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurts, cereal, toast, fruit and croissants etc so even the fussiest eater couldnt fault it :). A private pool is there for use which is not overlooked and very clean and refreshing in the spanish heat. The whole place is gorgeous immaculately clean, with breathtaking views and only a minutes drive to the supermarket and a five minute drive to Moraira and the local beach. The owners of this holiday apartment are fantastic people and very friendly. We are definately going back next year :)) Thanks for a fantastic holiday!!!! |

We have stayed at this apartment several times now and keep going back because the welcome is great, the apartment is lovely, comfortable and well equipped, the pool is fabulous and you even get your own patio area and bbq with great views over the mountains. The whole property is very clean and tidy with well kept gardens, your towels are changed everyday, breakfast is included and they even provide beach towels so you don't have to take up extra space in your suitcase. The apartment is in a quiet area on the outskirts of town and has supermarkets, restaurants, markets and the beach all near by. The town is really nice and I would describe it as upmarket. The hosts have great local knowledge and can recommend some great things to see and do and they know all the local restaurants where you can get a great 3 course meal including wine for 15 euros. At this accommodation you can just stay at the villa to swim and sunbathe (they have 4 loungers and umbrellas) or its a great base to explore this lovely area of Spain. |

"This has been our second visit to 'Gemstones' and we have already booked for next year. We think we have found a little piece of paradise here, total chill-out. We awake refreshed in a comfortable bed and make our way to the upper terrace where breakfast is served. Fresh oranges are squeezed for our juice and a platter of fresh fruit is presented for our consumption together with various cereals, toast, jams and marmalade, yoghurt etc., and of course tea and coffee. We walk away from the dishes as if we were in a high class hotel. When we return to our apartment the bed has been made, the towels changed, the bathroom has been cleaned as has the rest of the apartment. The rubbish has been removed and all the little extras like the toilet rolls, liquid soap, kitchen roll and washing up liquid etc., have been replenished. All this at no extra cost, amazing!! Can you blame us for coming back again next year to 'Gemstones'. we think we have found the jewel in the crown!"
