About the home
Casa Rosado is a delightful villa and great value for money all year round. Rental gives you access to the spectacular gated pool complex - visible from the terrace - which boasts 2 fantastic pools (one an infinity pool) – a bar/bistro, Wi-Fi should you bring a laptop, showers, toilets and during the high season there is a lifeguard on duty. For the youngsters there's a small play area for their enjoyment.
The air-conditioned (warm air in winter) living accommodation and terrace are on one level, making it ideal for all age groups. The open plan living area has direct access onto the large south facing sun-drenched terrace (from sun up to sun down), ideal for those that enjoy an al fresco lifestyle. The terrace has a traditional stone built BBQ, dining table, chairs and sun loungers.
The villa is situated on the quiet & unique Cumbre del Sol (Summit of the Sun), which is half way between Alicante and Valencia. A car is needed however there are restaurants, bars & cafes situated nearby. The local beach, Playa del Moraig, is only a 3/5 mins drive away with many blue flag sandy beaches a short drive away. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia and others are only 40 minutes away. Several golf courses within easy reach.

Casa Rosado is finished to a high standard; it is air conditioned (warm air in winter) and the furnishings are contemporary Spanish. With feature windows and 2 sets of patio doors onto the terrace, the spacious living & dining area is flooded with natural light. For times when you're not out and about, the villa has English satellite TV including Sky Sports 1 & 2 plus a all the mainstream channels as well a DVD and CD player. For those who don't bring their own, there's a wide range of books, DVDs, CDs and a few games for you to use at your leisure. The kitchen is well equipped with integrated appliances, a wide selection of cooking utensils including the all important BBQ tools! In addition to the family bathroom the property has a separate cloakroom.
The master bedroom is airconditioned & has patio doors out to the terrace. It has a large built in wardrobe, bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, a chest of drawers, a small bedside cabinet and a built in wardrobe.
There is a fully tiled family bathroom, with shower and wc. Uniquely in a villa of this size there is a separate tiled cloakroom making family life that much easier!
For your convenience there is a full size washing machine, ironing board and iron.
There are full instructions to all appliances and numerous leaflets, guides to the local area etc are available in the villa.

Casa Rosado boasts a terraced mountain garden with colourful shrubs, rockery plants, palms, olive and fir trees and a variety of ornamental grasses.
There's ample room on the large south facing terrace for the patio table (with parasol), 6 chairs, cushioned sun loungers and the fixed stone BBQ - in the high season this is the only 'room' you make full use of - from dawn till dusk and beyond!

Included in the price is air-conditioning for the hot summer days and nights, and for those visiting in the cooler months the air con units provide warm air.
All bedlinen and towels are provided, as well as duvets and extra pillows if required. A cot and highchair can easily be arranged on request.
All guests are provided with detailed directions from the airport and are greeted by our agent (who lives nearby).

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca, now one of the most cosmopolitan areas in Europe, has a coastline of over 200 kms and made up of some of the finest beaches, some of which enjoy a 'blue flag' status. With summer temperatures rarely falling below 30C and winter temperatures at an average of 18C, the Costa Blanca is an excellent holiday destination any time of the year. With low cost budget airlines flying to Alicante, Valencia and Murcia, Casa Rosado on the Cumbre del Sol is very accessible and is only a few hours away!!
Valencia, Spain's third largest city, is about 1hr's drive to the north. It's an exciting place with plenty of sights from over 2000 years of history, stunning ultra-modern architecture, active cultural life, excellent restaurants, unique nightlife, good beaches.
Benidorm, to the south, is the largest resort on the Costa Blanca with plenty of shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants. For the young and young at heart looking for thrills, Benidorm's famous theme parks, Terra Mitica, Aqualandia (water park) and Mundomar Marine Park are great attractions.
Gata de Gorgos is located about 8kms inland and is a small town well known for the production of cane goods. The town has many shops which sell cane ware and souvenirs, and also has a guitar factory where you can watch Spanish guitars actually being made.
Approx 30 mins from the Cumbre - lies the small village of Guadalest - a pretty village precariously perched on the top of a granite mountain, giving fantastic views across the valley carved out by the river below. The drive up the twisting road to Guadalest is almost as spectacular as the position of the village - passing through the most beautiful countryside with its lush vegetation, orange and olive groves and vineyards.
The Moraira / Cumbre del Sol area
Cumbre del Sol is half way between Valencia & Alicante (nearest large town Moraira). The local area offers a variety of leisure activities and sports activities including cycling, deep sea fishing, fishing, hiking, jet skiing, mountain biking, sailing, scuba diving, swimming, tennis and windsurfing. There are a number golf courses nearby, an abundance of excellent bars, cafes & restaurants catering for a wide variety of tastes and a number of modern boutiques.
Casa Rosado is a 3/5 minutes drive from Cumbre's very own pebble beach, Playa del Moraig with crystal clear water (excellent for snorkeling/scuba diving). Facilities here include a small beach-bar and the hire of sunbeds and parasols (in high season). The gently sloping sandy beaches of Moraira, Javea and Calpe are 10 - 20 minutes drive away.
Moraira has plenty of pavement cafes & restaurants, a marina, sandy bays and much more making this a great place to visit for all the family, both during the day and in the evening. There’s a weekly market every Friday which is a must for the local produce as well as bargains such as leather goods, and many other products from local craftsmen. Next to the market is a children’s amusement park which is open at night. In high season, there’s a nightly craft market where the friendly atmosphere means it is an exciting and safe place for families to take a stroll after dinner. Just a short walk from Moraira is El Portet a very attractive small beach. From here you can watch the sun set behind the Penon de Ifach - a large column of rock which rises from the sea, whilst enjoying a cool drink or dinner from one of the beach side restaurants.
Cumbre del Sol has its own supermarket and shopping precincts with restaurants, bars, cafes, a hairdresser, banks, children's amusement area etc. The Lirios Commercial Centre is only 10 minutes walk from the villa.
