In the other direction, you will find a supermarket, news agents and another everyday Spanish pizzeria/restaurant. This location is a dream. Park the car inside the villa gates & forget about it!
There are two kitchens, one on each floor, and the villa is just perfect for family holidays and splits nicely for 2 families holidaying together. The private pool can be heated. Fully air conditioned. Outside BBQ with food preparation area.

Activities
If the beach isn't your thing, then there are plenty of other things to do. That is, assuming you can pull yourself away from your luxury villa!
The local shops and night market offer a really excellent choice of quality clothes, gifts and keepsakes. There is a fairground, especially suitable for young children, a fabulous Go Karting circuit, for all ages, a tennis club and three nightclubs. Also nearby are three golf courses, horse riding, and water sports centres.
The larger resorts of Javea, Denia and Calpe are all within a half hour drive. Benidorm is also well within reach. Here you will find all the children's favourites- Terra Mítica Theme park, Aqualandia Water Park and Mundomar Animal Kingdom, with its world famous dolphin show.
If countryside and mountain tops are what you seek, then within 40 minutes you can be witnessing the breathtaking views at Guadalest or at the summit of the Sierra Bernia. Also, in just over one hour, you could be in Valencia, Spain's beautiful underestimated 3rd city.

Moraira / El Portet area
Originally a small fishing village, Moraira has grown into an ideal holiday retreat of perfect proportions, retaining much of its original character and atmosphere. It has attractive and colourful main streets, a picturesque Marina and wonderful blue flag sandy beaches. The choice of restaurants and bars are just too many to sample in one holiday. There are seven recommended by Michelin (three with stars) and a huge variety of others to suit all budgets. The combination of terraced vineyards, wonderful mountains and blue sea, combine to make this an area of spectacular beauty.
Fiestas
Moraira, like many Spanish towns, hosts many different fiestas throughout the year. The most famous is the 'Moors and Christians' festival, usually held over the 3rd weekend in June. The elaborate customs and parades are a real spectacle. You will be astonished that a small town such as this, can stage such a grand and marvelous event. The Patron Saint fiestas in July are colourful and noisy, and culminate in a huge, spectacular firework display. There are many other towns fiestas during the year, too many to mention here. Probably the prettiest cove beach on the Costa Blanca. It has two infanmous beach /bar restaurants serving food and drink all day, and into the night. Very reasonably priced for the location. Also worth a mention is the fabulous Le DAuphin Restaurant, which has a Michelin award. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. For a special occasion, or just for a special memory of your holiday, go there, you won't regret it!
How to get there
Moraira is a beach side resort about 55 minutes from Alicante airport and 75 mins from Valencia airport. Known as the "jewel in the crown" of the Costa Blanca, this picturesque small town, has a beautiful, marina, blue flag beaches, and an excellent choice of restaurants & bars.

Further details indoors: There is a full UK TV package including sports and films. You enter the lounge /diner from the naya.This lovely naya with Tosca stone looks out towards the private road & other pretty villas. It is surprisingly quiet for its location so close to the beach. Its just the perfect distance away from the beach & restaurants. From the naya you enter the modern lounge and inside dining area. The brand new kitchen is accessible from both the naya & lounge. THere is a sea view from the roof terrace only . From the lounge you have the hallway to all the bedrooms & the door leading to the pool terrace and BBQ House. . There are 3 double bedrooms on the living level, with two further bedrooms(a twin and a double) downstairs.
There is a full bathroom and another kitchen on this floor. The downstairs twin room is very large and could easily accommodate another put you up bed if required.
Further details outdoors: Just a short walk from this beautiful villa is the excellent Le Dauphin restaurant. With its truly stunning views across the Portet bay, and wonderful cuisine ( a michelin kitchen star) it really is a visi to cherish.
The pool can be heated at extra cost if required.
There is an outside BBQ , food preparation area (covered) and a pretty front garden. Parking is behind the villas front gates.

Conditions
Prices are based on two week stays. For single weeks please e mail Jill. We pretty much stick to Saturday to Saturday during July & August although sometimes are a little flexible. At other times we can be quite flexible. One third deposit is required when booking. Balance is 8 weeks before arrival.

We just loved the comfort & location of Casa Soleido. , I just walked from the villa to the beach and back in my costume! didn't even have to get changed. We loved Casa Mellini, but for location, I prefer this one. Nick was more than happy not to drive. The heated pool was a real plus as the pool at Mellini was quite cold in May. We have just returned from our weeks stay at Casa Soleido and just wanted to say what a great holiday we had.
