The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

A beautiful area of Spain where the sun shines all year round with very little rainfall. The coastal area has wonderful sandy beaches and lovely little coves to explore.Inland you have the areas of the Jalon and Orba valleys with their almond trees and vineyards.Driving along a road you pass trees laden with oranges and lemons.
Spain is a country of Fiestas, life is outside celebrating from town to village with wine, paellas and local music which involve every family and of course the fireworks. Infomation on local events can be obtained from the Tourist Information in Moraira.


Moraira / Fanadix area

Moraira is called the" jewel of the Costa Blanca " and not without reason.The deep blues of the ocean and the greens of the countryside create an idyllic environment for a memorable holiday.
If you Scuba dive then there are several Dive Shops to arrange your diving, for the Golf enthusiasts there is a 9 hole course overlooking the coast 5 minutes walk from the apartment along with tennis courts and restaurants.
On the outskirts of Moraira is a Go Karting track and for walkers the area gives scope for a fabulous days exploring, while in nearby Calpe rock climbing on the Ifach rock is popular.
Moraira is well located for trips other regions .


How to get there

Easy access to both Alicante and Valencia airports to which popular budget airlines fly from most UK airports.Easyjet, Monarch, Bmibaby, Air Berlin .Car hire is advisable and readily available at both airports.In peak season it is recommended to book in advance. Victoria Cars, Centauro, Europa cars.

Moraira about a quarter of a century ago was a small fishing village and has today retained its character with low rise properties and the provision of facilities expected by visitors.A short drive away are the towns of Teulada and Benissa and further afield are Denia, from where boats leave daily for the Balearic Islands, Javea, Jalon Valley,Calpe, Altea and Benidorm with its theme parks and night shows.
