The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
El Portet is one of the smaller more tastefully developed resorts, the beach is just 7 minutes walk from our villa. It is a very attractive small cove with a safe sandy beach, backed by a couple of beach bars and restaurants, as there is no road passing through there is little traffic to disturb the peaceful atmosphere. The villa is situated in what is known as the 'Golden Triange' between the larger resorts of Javea and Calpe. Inland are some spectacular mountain roads and the beautiful Jalon valley to visit, which is perfect for walking during the cooler months.
Moraira / El Portet area
Moraira town is just a 15 minute stroll, along the coastal path with fantasic views towards Calpe. It has a beautiful marina, safe sandy beach, numerous shops, and many excellent restaurants to suit all tastes. There are various festivals throughout the year. Should you want the bright lights of Benidorm, it is only 30 minutes drive away with Aqualandia and Terra Mitica theme parks on its outskirts.
How to get there
Fly to Alicante or Valencia, then drive to Moraira. We recommend using www.carjet.com for competetive car hire rates. However, as the villa is in a prime location, a car isn't essential. Taxis can be hired at Alicante airport, approx 75 euros.

Further details indoors: Steps up to a long terrace lead to an attractive entrance.The spacious lounge/dining room, has TV, DVD and CD player. It has a feature fire place with a log burning stove, this continues through French doors to a covered naya for further dining, which has fabulous mountain views. A new fully fitted kitchen with cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave. There are 3 bedrooms, one double (5ft bed), twin room, (both having mountain views) a further single room and bathroom. Mosquito nets and ceiling fans are in all rooms for the Summer , It also benefits from full gas central heating for winter lets. The lower floor will be locked and unoccupied.
Further details outdoors: The villa is surrounded by five terraces.. From the lounge there is a long terrace with table, chairs and umbrellas. A very large terrace around our own pool with plenty of sun beds and patio furniture, this leads up to a large terrace for dining Al Fresco, continuing on to a further smaller terrace shaded by a beautiful bougainvillea. At the front of the villa is another covered terrace with more seating and glorious mountain views. The communal pool is only 30 metres away.

CHANGEOVER DAY IS WED to take advantage of cheaper midweek flights. Though flexible in low season Private pool in operation beginning of May until end of October. Large communal pool in use all year. Central heating in operation from November until March.Discounts for long Winter lets of 4 weeks or more if low occupancy. . Cot and high chair available at small extra charge.
