The large terrace area with outdoor barbecue is immediately adjacent to the kitchen for ease of use. There are five bedrooms: two doubles with superking size beds and two twin bedrooms on the upper floor and one family room comprising a double room with en suite shower and adj twin room on the ground floor. The master bedroom features an en suite bathroom with corner bath and shower, and a large dressing area with exceptional wardrobe space and has a TV with SKY HD and DVD player. The bedroom opens on to a generous terrace. Guests will enjoy the spaciousness of each bedroom and four of them have room for a rollaway bed or cot although there are only two supplied. The villa also provides a further two shower rooms with toilet. The lounge is open plan to the kitchen which is fully equipped with 2 fridges, freezer, microwave, gas hob and electric oven and dishwasher. There is a separate dining room. The lounge has TV, selection of DVDs and DVD player and satellite TV which offers access to all major British terrestial channels as well as a Sky family package and Sky Sports HD. There is also a CD player with a selection of CDs and some games. There is a laundry room on the ground floor with washing machine and dryer and a drying area outside. The terrace has a covered area ideal for outdoor dining which is next to the kitchen and barbecue area. A burglar alarm system is installed for your security. The pool is equipped with an outdoor shower. Sun loungers are provided. There are two car ports shading the cars from the sun. There are two secluded beaches nearby with beach restaurant and bar. The Pepe La Sal supermarket is a short drive within the Cumbre and there is a restaurant and bar adjacent. There is a shopping complex with an Irish Pub,a bar and restaurant, within easy walking distance of the villa. There is a new Mercadona supermarket at the entrance to the Cumbre. The villa now has internet access free of charge to use with your own equipment or mobile phone. The two superking beds have now been fitted with a memory foam bed topper for ultimate sleep experience. Both rooms have access to SKY TV and a DVD player. All bedrooms have mosquito nets and the first floor rooms have black out shutters if required. There are fans in each bedroom for each person to use with air conditioning recently installed in the two superking bedrooms. The villa is very airy even in the hotter summer months. There are portable fans in all bedrooms per person but the villa is airy even in the hottest months. There are plenty of CDs DVDs, books and games for your entertainment. There is SKY TV HD which includes sky sports, movies and all terrestial English channels, and sky family package. TV in two main bedrooms linked to Sky. There is internet access but no computer in the villa but you can give you the log in details if you wish to take your own laptop or change your blackberry or Iphone settings to pick up emails. It is very well equipped with kitchen equipment for all types of cooking and barbecuing. There is air conditioning in the two superking bedrooms with a portable air con unit downstairs.

Smoking is permissable on the external terraces but the villa itself is no smoking for the comfort of other guests. There are two car ports one at the side and one at the rear which can take two vehicles. These are private to the villa. Our car is normally left in the street during the summer months in order for you to have full use of the car port areas as we appreciate sometimes you could have up to three cars or larger vehicles for families.

The contract is between Mervillas Ltd and the party leader who must sign a booking form accepting the conditions on behalf of all persons named on the booking form including those substituted or added by an agreed amendment of the booking. A contract exists when you have paid a deposit and we have accepted your booking and is subject to Scottish law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. On receipt of the signed booking form and deposit we shall send you written confirmation. The Villas is reserved only for the use of persons named thereon so please check the confirmation carefully and notify us immediately if anything is wrong. If it is later found that the number of persons occupying the Villa is greater than as agreed. and or the party is not as notified, including the occupation by pets of any kind, then the use of the Villa by the party will be terminated immediately and all monies paid under the contract will be deemed forfeit.
Payment A deposit of 20% of the villa rental is required when booking. The balance of the rental cost is due 6 weeks prior to the start of the rental period. If the balance is not paid by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain any deposits held. If you book within 10 weeks of the start date of the rental period the full amount is due immediately.
Inventory Deposit A refundable deposit of £200 per week is payable at the time when the balance of the rental cost is due. This is held to cover for any breakage, damage or additional costs to us as a result of your stay in the villa and includes but is not limited to;
a Any breakages or damage caused to the villa, the pool its contents and grounds.
b Excessive use of gas, water and electricity
c The replacement of missing items
d Any addition to normal cleaning required by the villa, its contents and grounds. (For example we expect the BBQ to be left in a clean usable condition and your day to day rubbished removed. If it is not, the additional costs incurred by us for cleaning or removing left rubbish will be charged to you.)
e Retuning of Satellite system if system is deliberately untuned
f Damage to pool by excessive use of suntan oils and lotions, always shower in the outside shower before using the pool.
The deposit will be automatically refunded as soon as we receive confirmation that the villa, contents and grounds (including the pool and BBQ area) were left in a satisfactory condition and keys returned within two weeks.
Booking Periods Weekly booking periods are from 6pm to 10 am the departure day. The date of the arrival day of each individual week of villa rental determines the rental price for that week. The rental costs quoted are inclusive of use of the villa for period stated, pool cleaning, departure cleaning and change of linen and towels (not beach) in the middle of two week periods. The linen and towels should be available for collection and new linen with towels will be left. We accept arrivals on any days and for various durations. Please do not hesitate to ask.
Cancellation of bookings by you Any cancellation of the booking must be made in writing by recorded delivery or by email and signed by the party leader. Cancellation will become effective from the date it is received. We cannot be liable for the security of your own personal possessions. The villa is equipped with a burglar alarm system for your protection and we recommend that this is used at all times.
If we cancel your booking In the unlikely event of a cancellation of your booking by us, we will do so in writing, by recorded deliver or email. Cancellation will become effective from the date it is received. All cancellations by us are subject to a total refund of monied paid, plus if within ten weeks of the start of the rental period the following scale of compensation per person will be paid. We cannot accept any responsibility for cancellation or curtailment of your rental period caused by matters over which we have no control. This includes, but is not limited to:- war or threat of war, natural or nuclear disaster, government action, and act of God.
The pool cover must be used if pool heating is requested. This may be included in some months or we may levy an additional utility charge. This pool cover stops the pool losing its heat overnight and keeps the temperature maintained.
Conditions
Smoking is available on the terraces but we prefer the villa to remain non smoking within for the comfort of our other guests. We encourage family bookings as the villa is designed for family use. We have accepted bookings of all female or all male in the past but it is a residential area and would insist on a certain standard of behaviour in terms of noise and respect for fellow villa users. The villa has three small steps to enter the terrace from the front car port and then is all level and suitable for wheelchair use.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
On the east of the Iberian peninsula, in the province of Alicante, you will find the Costa Blanca, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea. Considered one of the healthiest regions by the World Health Organisation, with a warm stable climate ranging from an average of 18 degrees in winter to 28 degrees in the summer. This is also the European tourist destination which has obtained the most blue flags over the last few years for its pristine waters and coastline.
The region can be reached either from Alicante (90km) or Valencia (102km) airports and Murcia is 80km south of Alicante. The motorway to these airports lies only 10 km away from the Cumbre del Sol.The area is ideal for practicing all kinds of sports: sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, golf, tennis, diving, horseback riding or hiking along any of the routes designed for this purpose. Leisure activites in this region have been boosted by the development of one of the largest theme parks in Europe, Terra Mitica, as well as other water or safari parks.
The Moraira / Cumbre del Sol area
Cumbre del Sol lies in the very heart of the Costa Blanca. The beauty of the landscape, inspires a tranquility not common in the coastal towns. The Cumbre del Sol is ideal because of its proximity to all the hustle and bustle of Javea on one side (7km), the quaintness of Benitachell behind it (3 km), and also borders the exclusive resort town of Moraira at only 4km distance. The cosmopolitan attractions of Benidorm are 32 km away.
Certainly the abundance of natural green areas, fantastic views, and tranquility are reasons to stay in the Cumbre del Sol. There is also a cafeteria, bars.restaurants, swimming pools, stables, golf, tennis courts,shops and supermarkets as well as the private beaches.

Very relaxing tranquil location. Idyllic. Ideal for families or couples. Extremely well furnished all rooms are very spacious. Pool very good size for a decent swim. Will go back for family holiday again. By far the best villa my family and I have stayed at for our annual holday. |

The villa is absolutely beautiful and is perfectly positioned to get the sun all day long. The pool was a real highlight; we stayed at the end of August and the temperature was spot-on, with no heating required. It's also plenty big enough to have a 'proper' swim. All rooms were very spacious and there was plenty of hot water when needed. The villa was full of practical features; for example, the large windows at the side of the veranda enabled us to stay outside when the wind was up a little one night. Also, there was plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses, a small point but one which made things so easy. The wi-fi worked very well – we have stayed at other locations where it has been temperamental. The villa lacked for absolutely nothing and everything that was provided was of a very high quality. We really could not have faulted the whole place, in fact, the only thing we could think of that was missing was a suction hook to hang a dish towel on so we went and got one! We used the barbeque every night, it was lovely to cook fresh food and sit with a glass of local rose wine, watching the sun go down. A large supermarket was only a short drive away and had plenty of fresh produce (the bread and fish counter were particularly good). Although we didn't spend much time in the local town, we did go down on market day to get a few gifts and fresh food. All was very pleasant. We had such a lovely time and are likely to use again. |

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion.
Special rates may be considered depending on party size, dates and length of stay. Normal lets are from Saturday to Saturday but all arrival and departure dates will be considered as many cheaper flights now fly midweek. Published charges for July and August include use of pool heating system. Additional costs will be charged for use of pool heating during all other periods published. These can be confirmed on request. Pool heating not available from November until March inclusive.
The villa must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure in order for us to prepare for the incoming guests. During a ten to 14 night stay a change of linen and towels will be supplied. Please have these ready for collection. All special requests will be considered.
The villa will be ready for occupation from 6pm on day of arrival. Special arrangements may be made depending on flight times but this will be subject to availability. These can be confirmed on request.
The rental is inclusive of a welcome pack and use of indoor bath and hand towels and bedding. Beach towels are not supplied. A refundable deposit of £200 per week will be required at the time of booking for any mishaps or damages or disturbance to neighbours and will be refunded after inspection and the sending back of the keys to our home address.
The dining room has been converted to a twin room so winter lets would be restricted to dining facilities within the villa as it is geared towards summer sun living with dining al fresco.
