Casa Feliz is a large recently modernised house on a good-sized secure private plot with good parking, and with a 10-12 minute level walk to Moraira town and the main beach. It has four large bedrooms (all have AC) each with a shower or bathroom, lounge (which can also sleep two) with AC and internet TV plus free wi-fi for those with computers, There is a fully-fitted modern kitchen, separate utility room, ample parking, lovely naya with barbecue leading to the large terrace with private 10m x 5m pool. There are shaded areas to escape the midday sun, a shower, and an outdoor bar with fridge near the pool to provide internal refreshment.
Casa Feliz makes a perfect holiday base for one large family or two smaller ones in the beautiful area of Moraira, which has nice beaches, a spectacular coastline and interesting mountains behind. Also nearby are a wide range of activities and attractions. It is our winter home and so has all home comforts provided. .
Casa Feliz is located on the quieter back road into Moraira on the edge of the flat-bottomed valley, providing views over the vineyards, and most-important, an easy level walk into town and to the main beach, taking just a few minutes. This is marvellous for avoiding parking problems, and enabling easy return from restaurants and bars without having to drive.

A. The Master bedroom is large, gets morning sun, has AC, and a nice en suite shower room. It has two 3ft beds made up as a king size double.
B. The No.2 bedroom is also large, has AC and an en suite bathroom with shower. It has two 3ft singles, and also has a third 2ft6in folding bed.
C. The No.3 bedroom is a pleasant room with a 4ft6in double bed and a shower room opposite. It has an AC unit.
D. The downstairs bedroom is a very nice room, with AC and a nice en suite shower room. It has two 3ft singles made up as a king size double, plus a cot in the corner.
E. The lounge has AC and includes a settee which converts into two 2ft6in portable beds. These beds are okay for teenagers but not recommended for adults! The cloakroom is across the hall, and the shower room upstairs.
Eight people can live in considerable luxury at Casa Feliz, but two more can sleep on reasonable single sofa-conversion beds in the lounge or the Bedroom 2 folding bed.
There is air conditioning in all of the bedrooms, and the lounge system is a large one to cover adjacent areas. We do not meter this or charge extra, but we do urge everybody not to leave them on all day, and especially to keep windows and doors closed.

Casa Feliz is set in a large secure private plot with lots of parking. There are extensive terrace areas and a lovely 10m x 5m swimming pool, which has underwater lights and a bar area and an outside hot shower next to it. The terrace is floodlit for evening enjoyment, and there is a large shaded area for when the sun gets to be too much. We also have table tennis.
Further details
Casa Feliz is suitable for the infirm with its downstairs bedroom and en suite, but not really for wheelchair users due to narrow doorways and regular bathrooms.
Sorry, but no all-male groups, or unaccompanied groups of youngsters
We are also sorry, but as my wife has an allergy, NO SMOKING is allowed in the house. Please respect this.
Conditions
Rates include pool servicing, water, electricity, etc. plus changeover cleaning and weekly bedlinen/towel changing (only beach towels are not provided). A welcome pack will also be provided to get you started on arrival.
As is normal, guests are asked to arrive after 4pm on the first Saturday, and to then leave before 10am on the last, to provide enough time for thorough cleaning.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region


The Costa Blanca has something for everyone. In the Northern region, around Moraira, the area is not overdeveloped, and the countryside is beautiful with lovelly beaches mixed with rocky headlands and coves, with spectacular mountains and Spanish villages inland. Also,down the coast are the nightlife and theme parks of Benidorm, with Aqualandia, Sea World and Terra Mitica which are only twenty miles away.
There is a safari park to the North-West, plus of course, the striking mountain ranges, including excellent waterfalls at Algar where you can swim in the cool mountain pools. The world-famous fascinating mountaintop town of Guadalest is also easily reached. The amazing 1000 foot-high rock which emerges from the sea at Calpe, the Penyon d'Ifach, provides an excellent challenge for the reasonably fit, yielding stunning views.
The Moraira / Camarrocha area
Moraira itself is the old coastal harbour village for the small town of Teulada which is about three miles inland. Its two beaches face due South, and it is clean and has been sensitively developed into a largely villa holiday town with many restaurants and bars, but not wild nightlife! Nearby are larger towns with every kind of activities and attractions, but Moraira is unspoilt by tall buildings, and really is the jewel in the Costa Blanca crown.
There is a beautiful coastline, spectacular mountain ranges behind, and Moraira has a quiet relaxing ambience. It is an excellent family holiday town, very safe, with almost no hotels, no high-rise buildings, and no package holidays. The World Health Organisation says that this area of Spain has the best year-round climate in Europe. Eating out caters for all tastes and budgets in Moraira, and there is even more variety at the nearby towns of Calpe to the South and Javea to the North. There is also a good market on Fridays. In short, a wonderful holiday centre with something for everyone.

Lots of airlines fly into Alicante (1hr), and an increasing number into Valencia (1hr15m). Again there are many car rental companies, but each year the cheapest changes! Alternatively, you can take your car on the cruise ferry to either Bilbao or Santander and drive across Spain, which is very pleasant if you have the time.

The rental rates shown are per week for periods of two weeks - there is a supplemental charge of £50 for one-week lets, and a discount of 5% for lets of three or more weeks. A non-refundable £250 reservation deposit will be required at the time of booking, followed by the balance at 6 weeks before the start of the let. An additional loss/damage deposit of £250 will be charged with the balance payment, and refunded two weeks after the end of the let, assuming no significant losses or damage!
Preferred payment in British pounds, but Euros is possible. Payment by electronic bank transfer or by personal cheque.
