About the home

Ideally located and very close to all amenities. Moraira town is just over 3Kms and the beaches of L'Ampolla, Portet and even the pretty cove of Cumbre del Sol are within a 10 minute drive. This villa has everything including fabulous views.

A beautiful modern two storey villa built to an extremely high standard with absolutely fabulous views. The furnishings and equipment are all you could hope for in such a wonderful villa, where comfort and style are the key points. The front door goes in to a large entrance hall and opposite, double doors go through to the large lounge and dining room. Sliding doors go out from the lounge to the covered, arched terrace. This runs the length of the villa, and from here the views are stunning. The dining alcove has been cleverly designed to take full advantage of the views from the large "picture" windows and the well equipped kitchen is conveniently situated just off the dining area. Also on the upper floor is the master suite (air-conditioned) with a good sized bedroom with doors out to the terrace, and a lovely en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms and the separate family shower room are downstairs.
Central heating is available as an extra.

The terrace runs the length of the villa and is equipped with table and chairs, the viewsfrom here are fabulous. Just by the kitchen is the barbecue patio, with purpose built barbecue and a table and chairs, another great place for those al fresco meals. The swimming pool is on the lower level, with an extensive paved surround equipped with sun loungers and a parasol. There is a small garden at this level, with more garden area on the upper level. The whole property is beautifully kept, and is fully fenced and gated. There is parking for a couple of cars.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Northern Costa Blanca has long been a popular holiday destination for Spaniards and foreigners alike. The area is still famous for its Valencia oranges that are exported all over the world. Within half hour's drive is Benidorm where a fun day out is guaranteed with a visit to Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura or Mundomar. And in the evening a trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret is performed - not to be missed! Visit Alicante to see the old Castle, or wander around the port. And more locally, enjoy a drive inland to picturesque Guadalest perched high above a lake. The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit and the city is once again host to the European F1 Grand Prix 22nd to 24th of June 2012. Valencia is also a great place to go shopping. And not too far away is Buñol where the world famous 'Tomatina' fiesta is celebrated each year on the last Wednesday of August. It is also possible to visit Barcelona by train in a day!

The Moraira / Alcazar area

Moraira was once the sleepy fishing port for Teulada. Now it is a delightful holiday resort. Careful town planning has put a stop to high rise buildings, and the surrounding hills are dotted with whitewashed villas. Moraira’s two fine sandy beaches at Portet and Ampolla are complemented by numerous rocky coves where snorkelling is a delight. In the evening wander around the village and port or spend a Friday morning browsing through the stalls at the weekly open-air market. Restaurants and bars of all types abound in and around Moraira, and Jávea to the north or Calpe to the south are just a few minutes drive away. Plan your holiday around the spectacular Moors & Christians festival celebrated around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.

Summer in Moraira
Great size of villa for a family of four. Would appreciate one of the bedrooms with single beds if we wanted to take friends.
Could not find the pool lights so swimming in the dark in the evenings!
Maybe ipod speakers for current technology.
A shovel to help clear up barbecue charcoal cinders.

The best Spanish Villa experience...ever! -
Villa Tranquilo was the best Spanish villa we have ever stayed in...and we have been to 6 now! The setting and location is fabulous...views overlooking the valley and sea and within walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants and Moraira. The villa is furnished to a very high standard and the cleanliness was the best we have experienced. All facilities were second to none and the service we received from aspects of Spain went beyond what we had previously experienced. Thank you
