About this location

The Valenciana region

The Costa Blanca is renowned for its turquoise waters, miles of white sandy beaches, fiery fiestas and sizzling nightlife. Visitors adore the ease of its home comforts and family-friendly amenities, while many more are seduced by unexplored valleys, pretty hilltop hamlets and unspoilt fishing villages. Year-round sunshine makes this region an ideal choice for every type of holiday – whether you seek peace and relaxation, fun and recreation, or a perfect balance between the two.

There are several beaches in the area of Moraira and Benissa towards Calpe, some are sandy, and some are rocky coves. There are also several beaches towards Javea (with its lovely safe, sandy beach), Denia with its miles of white sand and Gandia around 30-40 minutes away with its 5km of glorious sandy beaches. Many beaches boast the blue flag. For those who like water sports, boating or sailing, there are several marinas and facilities in the area. The near-by mountain ranges provide for excellent hiking, walking and climbing and for those with plenty of energy, cycling! There are also tennis clubs, go-kart tracks, horse-riding stables in the area within a few minutes' drive. Plenty to do for everyone!Javea golf club is within 10 minutes drive from the villa, as is Moraira golf club. There are also several other golf courses available in the area at Denia, Altea, Oliva and Benidorm.

Moraira is a picturesque coastal town in a bay on the South-Eastern coast of Spain. It is nestled between the resorts of Javea and Calpe. Once a sleepy fishing village, Moraira is a popular holiday destination for European visitors staying in holiday villas in Moraira. Moraira's property is also sought after by its loyal following from Spain. Surrounded by Costa Blanca’s beautiful mountains, Moraira has 8 km of coastline with fine sandy beaches and inviting turquoise waters.

Moraira’s impressive marina is at the centre of its life with plenty of local bars, shops and restaurants. In fact some of the restaurants are highly recommended with menus for all tastes. Much of Moraira’s original character remains untouched due to strict planning laws, ensuring that the town is not over-developed. The area has a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, with beautiful un-spoilt scenery. In the evenings there is a great relaxed nightlife with locals and visitors coming together to enjoy the many restaurants and bars. On your Moraira villa holiday it is recommended you hire a car to really appreciate the area’s beauty and many activities and excursions.
