VILLA FLAMINGO is located in the exclusive "La Colina" development built by respected builders, Blauverd, and located at Calle Benimarfull in Moraira. It is less than a couple of minutes "drive" from the old town of Moraira, with its beautiful sandy beaches that were awarded the prestigious Blue Flag for cleanliness and are well tended and safe for family bathing.
Moraira, considered to be the "Jewel in the Crown" of the Costa Blanca but once a small fishing village, is now a sophisticated resort. There are elegant shops and numerous restaurants to suit all tastes. There are no high rise hotels or apartment blocks, the area remains exclusively for villa owners and those who prefer the independent holiday.
There are 3 beaches, the L'Ampolla beach is a lovely sandy beach with a play area for children, El Portet ,which is set in a beautiful bay and ideal for children with its shallow waters and Andrago beach, just a short stroll from the town.
Walk around the lovely harbour and visit the fish market selling freshly caught fish of the day, then wander around the town and choose from the many bars and restaurants for refreshments! Every Friday you will find the local market on the large car park in the centre of Moraira which is well worth a visit.
There are many festivals during the year, one of the most spectacular is the Moors and Christians festival which is held around the middle of June. This includes beach battles, marching processions through the town and ends with a fabulous fire work display.

The Costa Blanca has been recognised by the World Health Organisation as the healthiest area in the world. 320 days of sunshine, healthy temperate breezes in summer & protective mountains in winter. If you have not visited this area before it is almost guaranteed you will return.
Spectacular coastline and numerous sandy beaches, interesting towns and countryside to visit, plenty of sightseeing coach and boat trips to the surrounding areas although few, including ourselves, want to venture far! Benidorm with various theme parks plus several golf courses are only 30 mins away.
Moraira / Benitachell area
Moraira is one of the most exclusive areas in the Costa Blanca. It has some of the best Spanish and French restaurants in Spain, and a fantastic marina.
Moraira is a clean and typically Spanish fishing village which has grown only a little to the delightful town it is now. Numerous restaurants and bars, many with stunning views. A bustling High Street with attractive shops but larger supermarkets nearby. Walking is a pleasure with wide avenues and promenades, clifftop walks, gardens, palm park, duck pond, yacht marina and bustling harbour with it's fish market.
How to get there
Moraira is approximately one hour's drive from either Alicante or Valencia airport. All major airlines fly to both airports, from virtually every UK airport. Try www.avis.com for car hire.

Further details indoors: The kitchen is fully fitted with hob, oven and grill, fridge/ freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Living Rooms: The living area is spacious with a TV receiving British satellite channels and a Home Entertainment System for the use of CD / DVD. There is a separate dining area. The bedrooms are all equipped with fully fitted cupboards and bedside tables with lamps. Linen and towels are provided for the duration of your holiday. However, the towels provided are not for use on the terrace, pool areas or beach.
Further details outdoors: There is a large private pool (8 metres x 5 metres), which is maintained every week by our management company. There is also a covered terrace off the lounge via the patio doors, and guests can enjoy sitting next to the large al fresco dining table over looking the pool and the vineyards to the right.
A traditional BBQ is available for guests, and the garden is tended weekly.

The prices includes all linen, bath & hand towels per person per week, full use of the air conditioning, and or gas central heating and the heating for the Jacuzzi, there are no extras.
A refundable damage deposit is payable, £200 for 4 guests or less and £300 for 5 guests or more. 25% of the rental cost (exc the damage deposit) is required to secure the booking and the balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. Guests will be met at the villa on the day of arrival at 4.00 pm and given a full tour plus keys etc
