Casa de la Vista is situated on the beautiful mountain of La Cumbre del Sol (Summit of the Sun) with amazing sea and countryside views, and near to the small village of Benitachell. It is a quiet and very relaxing area and the apartment has been equipped to a high standard of comfort and luxury with fantastic views of the Mediterranean from your own private balcony with al fresco dining facilities available. Award-winning cascading infinity pools, the National Park (a preservation area) with stunning coastal walks, the Cumbre cove beach (Playa de Moraig) with crystal clear blue waters excellent for swimming and snorkelling with Spanish bar on site -- all less than 5 minutes away! A great way to enjoy a Spanish Christmas in the sun.

A bottle of chilled Spanish Cava 'Champagne' is in the fridge awaiting your arrival with our compliments.
The apartment owners will meet you on your arrival and demonstrate the facilities in the apartment and generally offer advice and point out local amenities on the Cumbre.

We have an 87 year old gentlemen who visits regularly and has no problem.
Refundable breakage/damage deposit of £150 is required (and will be returned within two weeks of your departure) subject to satisfactory property inspection.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region


Costa Blanca is home to both vibrant resorts and also to the gentle world of orange, lemon, almond and olive groves and vineyards and where village life continues much as it has done in the past in beautiful surroundings.
If you are looking for peace and tranquility you have come to the right place, and if you want some action then you will find almost everything you could wish for a short drive away, from watersports, tennis, golf and rock climbing, to boat trips, theme parks, walking, horse riding and bird watching.
A short drive from the apartment are the larger towns of Altea, Denia, Benidorm and Guadalest.
ALTEA: rises up with a blue domed Church dominating the cobbled streets of this small village with tiny streets. Beautiful shops around this area with a beach running alongside the main road.
BENIDORM: choice of beaches and lively nightlife.
VALENCIA: A beautiful city with many historical sites and large shops - circa 90 minutes away.
GUADALEST: cobble streets and a stunning castle high up in the mountains - a must place to visit.

The Moraira / Cumbre del Sol area
This part of Spain is recognised by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places in the world to live.
There are many local Fiestas which take place during the year and visitors are made most welcome. Information will be available at the apartment and at the Tourist Information Offices - also available on line www.spanish-fiestas.com/costa-blanca/moraira
BENITACHELL: is a small Spanish village dominated by a beautiful Church which is floodlit at night and having many narrow streets. A small market takes place on Wednesday attended by the locals.
The Cumbre is perfectly situated between the smaller town of Moraira and the larger resort of Javea (known by the Spanish as the Jewels of Spain) and within10 minutes drive. Both towns having sandy beaches, bars, restaurants, shops, golf, marinas, watersports, jet skis, Go-Karting, diving, sailing, and many other facilities.
MORAIRA was originally a small fishing village which has developed into a small exclusive area, whilst still retaining its original charm and character. Designer shops, restaurants and bars, a marina and beautiful sandy beaches all add to the charm of this picturesque small town. The Friday market is particularly popular with locals and visitors alike.
JAVEA: There are 3 parts to Javea - the old Town and the Port area and the Arenal. The old Town is fascinating with its medieval Church and cobbled streets. The Port has many boutiques, beaches and a Marina. The Arenal has a beautiful beach and lively nightlife and bars.
CALPE: from Moraira to Calpe is a very scenic drive with lots of small beaches and coves along the way. Why not explore the famous Roch de Ifach (which can be seen from The Cumbre) and rises over 300m out of the sea. Calpe is a larger bustling town with many shops and bars.
DENIA: A major Port with ferry links to Ibiza and Majorca. The shops ae quite upmarket and the town boasts over 200 different restaurants to choose from.
LA CUMBRE DEL SOL : (Summit of the Sun) is a beautiful mountain with amazing views over the blue Mediterranean Coastline and the National Park plus offering restaurants, a beautiful natural beach with Spanish bars, supermarket, hairdressers, chemist etc. Walks in the National Park and along the coastline with amazing views (and most days you can see the Balaeric Islands in the distance). Cumbre beach (Cala de Moraig) is a beautiful natural beach with clear blue waters complete with Bar providing tapas and refreshments. Birdwatching is a speciality in this area. There are brand new tennis courts available in Cumbre, within a 5-minute drive.
Supermarket, newsagents, Bars, excellent restaurants, pharmacy, WiFi Internet Cafe, hairdressers, etc., all within a short distance from the apartment.
Wherever you choose to visit during your stay at our apartment you are sure of a holiday never to forget and maybe that's why so many have rebooked already.

Amazing apartment with beautiful views of the sea. All the facilities you would need within the apartment and beautiful swimming pools just down the road. Short drive to choice of pebbly or sandy beaches. Lovely holiday town of Moraira just a short drive away for shops and a large choice of restaurants. We had a fantastic holiday. Guestbook for Casa de la Vista
What a fabulous relaxing holiday we had staying at this lovely apartment.We arrived an hour later than we had expected having been so happy to be in Spain we drove the wrong way!Trevor and Karrie were very understanding and helped us safely to our holiday destination with directions over the phone.We arrived at around 11pm in darkness to a friendly welcome and a glass of cava.It was only when we woke the following morning that we were able to appreciate the amazing views from the balcony.We spent our breakfasts gazing out to sea and quite a few evening meals too-we couldn't find another restaurant with such a view and with such good quality fresh produce found in the local stores it was easy to make great food and washed down with some local wine. The swimming pools were great and because we booked early in the season(last week June first week in July) we had them virtually to ourselves.The kids(2 daughters 7 and 11)had a wonderful time swimming and playing as did my wife and I.Again what a view to take in as you relax by the pool.
We really enjoyed walking to the top of the mountain in the evenings to watch the sun set.It took just 20 mins to get to the top and what a view with the sea on one side and the mountains on the other,just breathtaking!!The smell of wild rosemary in the warm air was wonderful too.We picked plenty and used it with several of our evening meals.We even brought some home and have it in our freezer now!
There was plenty to do away from the pool with trips to Valencia(amazing aquarium)Javea with it's great beach and lively nightlife.Denia with bullrunning in the streets and a carnival atmosphere to celebrate the start of the festival week.It was also the world cup quarter final so it was fun to watch Spain play at a bar in a quaint square drinking beer and eating tapas and celebrating with the Spanish fans.
We had a trip to Moraira which was nice enough and to Guadalest which although in a very pretty spot in the mountains was for us far too commercialised.We ate a shocking meal here-my advice if you go is take a picnic!
Overall we had a wonderful relaxing holiday here.Just what the doctor ordered after a long hard winter in Norway.I can totally recommend the apartment and Trevor and Karrie were most welcoming hosts.We certainly hope to return in the not too distant future.Andrew,Marte Kristine, Sabine and Matilde. The holiday started brilliantly with cava on the balcony! We've had a great holiday and made really special by the kindness and thoughtfulness of Karrie and Trevor. We spent Christmas and New Year in this fabulous apartment in Benitachell which was easy to find with the directions we were sent. I will definitely book again if I am going to stay in the Moraira area. The Cumbre was very quiet,peaceful & relaxing. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a winter break if you are looking for peace and relaxation, We had Christmas lunch in the restaurant on the Cumbre (called Illoys) and the food really was fantastic and the service great. The apartment itself was just fantastic and everything I had hoped for, the luxurious decor is modern yet comfortable, really clean and new. The most important and memorable element has to be drinking Cava on the balcony looking out to the sea, absolutely amazing.
