The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Moraira / Benitachell/Cumbre del Sol area

Moraira, Costa Blanca, Spain

Moraira is a gem of a town just a short distance south of Javea on the coast of the central Costa Blanca and a 30 minute drive from Benidorm to the south. Formerly a quaint fishing village with stunning views across to El Peñon de Ifach, the rock of Calpe, it now survives from tourism whilst retaining much of the charm which has long attracted visitors and foreign residents.

Moraira is blessed with a wide selection of stylish cafés within its pleasant streets notably 'Deli' on Calle Calatayud which serves up an interesting selection of home cooked dishes including inventive salads, curries from many nations and quiche dishes. For more authentic Spanish fare try the shaded Las Gaviotas in the main square which lies in the shadow of the town's church. The main fish restaurants are located on the front overlooking the small port and fish market (La Lonja) where fish auctions take place every morning at 10am except Sundays. Well worth seeing.
Moraira Beaches
Platja de l'Ampolla is Moraira's only beach within comfortable walking distance of the centre lying just 500m from the fish market. Another more attractive option is Platja del Portet which is 1.5km north of the centre. This is the most chilled out spot you could ever wish for with golden sand, turquoise waters and a few little café bars overlooking the beach. For more extensive beaches it's only a short drive to Javea and Denia where some of Spain's finest beaches can be found. Beaches immediately south of Moraira are rocky rather than sandy but are excellent for snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing and wakeboarding.

On entering through the large wooden front door (accessed via slope and hence suitable for wheelchair access) you enter into a large marble hallway with views straight into the living room and swimming pool beyond.
The spacious living room is approached through a large archway. The two main focal points are the feature fireplace and the double patio doors with lead out onto the terrace with spectacular views out over the pool and surrounding countryside.
Modern shaker style kitchen complete with a small breakfast bar and three stools. There a large number of units complemented by granite work surfaces.
Master Bedroom Suite
The master suite is accessed via a spiral marble staircase. On entering the suite you immediately appreciate the brightness afforded to this room by the two sets of patio doors which open out on to a huge private balcony with wonderful views out over the pool and surrounding countryside. There is an adjoining dressing room housing wardrobes including a safety deposit box. En Suite Bathroom A large marble bathroom with twin basins, WC, huge bath and overhead shower.
Bedroom Two
A double bedroom with double patio doors and views over the garden, patio and swimming pool.
Bedroom Three (suitable for wheelchair access)
A twin bedroom found at the end of the corridor accessed via an extra wide door making it suitable for wheelchair access. A side window with pull down blinds provides view out over the patio and garden.
The Shower Room
This shower room on the right is accessed by an extra wide door making it suitable for wheelchair access. There is a large shower, bidet and a heated towel rail. Radiator. N.B. There are no special facilities for disabled guests in the shower room.


Bedroom Four
A twin bedroom perfect for children with a side window with pull down blinds providing views out over the side of the villa.
Bedroom Five
A large double bedroom with a four-door wardrobe complete with hanging space, shelves and overhead lockers provides more than enough storage space.

A large marble shower room with shower cubicle, washbasin and WC. Radiator.





Further details outdoors:
The villa is approached by entering through tall double wooden electric gates which open onto a long steep drive. Halfway down the drive you come a large front door on your right (ramp access) and further down, the foot of the drive leads around to the side of the villa where a tandem garage (electric door naturally) and a car port can be found.
The garden leads into the patio which spreads across the whole of the rear of the Villa with fabulous views across the countryside and the sea. The patio is set on two levels with a stunning infinity swimming pool, built in BBQ area and outdoor hot and cold shower. It also has ramp access to both terraces from the patio doors from the lounge.

It is only a 7 min walk to the nearest commercial centre where there is a supermarket and restaurant with community pool. It is only a 5 minute drive to the beautiful town/port of Moraira and a 5-10 minute drive to several beautiful beaches. It is only 5 minutes away from the local equestrian centre and within easy reach of a host of sporting and recreational facilities.
