About the home

Casa Brisa is a charming rustic Spanish Finca or country villa sitting in approximately an acre of land, situated just outside the old Spanish town of Benissa, on a gentle south facing hillside, which leads down to the coast (10 mins) and the popular towns and beaches of Calpe and Moraira. Casa Brisa is secluded, gets the sun all day long, and has wonderful panoramic country views, with the sea in the distance and the Sierra Bernia mountains as a striking backdrop. There is a delightful individually designed swimming pool, and there are plenty of areas for secluded sunbathing. There are loggias on the south and west sides of the casa. There is a BBQ area where you can cook whilst watching the evening sun go down over the mountains. It is a truly charming setting for a most tranquil and refreshing holiday.

Accommodation: The comfortable accommodation in Casa Brisa consists of a charming living and dining room in the naya area; an inner living room/study; a twin bedded room; shower room with toilet; and a well-equipped kitchen. On the upper floor, is a bathroom which serves both the cosy single bedroom and the lovely large bedroom with its king-sized bed and central fan (for those hot Mediterranean nights!) Also for your extra comfort, doors and windows in the finca are screened so that they may be left open to provide a through draft if needed.

The living room and all the bedrooms have fans provided.

The entrance to the finca is gated and fenced down the lane boundary. Casa Brisa sits in almost an acre and has lemon and orange trees, two fig trees, a nispero tree and several palm trees. There is a large terrace surrounding the property and two Nayas to provide much needed shade.

The pool is 9m x 5m and is 1.5m deep. No Diving please.

Unfortunately Casa Brisa is NOT SUITABLE FOR VERY YOUNG CHILDREN under 6 years of age.

Conditions

We require a 20% deposit and the balance to be paid 10 weeks before the arrival date. All monies are non-refundable so you wil need to have appropriate insurance.

Individually Designed Pool

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Benissa is virtually equidistant bewtween the ancient and lovely city of Valencia and the busy city of Alicante to the south. The finca itself is just 10 minutes from the fabulous Costa Blanca coast ,with its wonderful selection of beaches and coves to explore, in between the small towns of Moraira and Calpe. Just to the other side of Benissa is the beautiful Jallon Valley and the Bernia Mountains which is well worth a day trip.

It is said by the World Health Organisation that the climate in the region is the best in the world.


Unlike other places along the Spanish Mediterranean coast with expat communities, Benissa integrates nationalities from all over Europe without losing any of its distinct character and beauty.

The Moraira / Benissa area

There are many areas to expolore inland, and Valenica is a wonderful and interesting old city. There is either the famous Terra Mitica theme park or Terra Natura, an animal park for children to visit, and Aqualandia, a water park, is also very popular.

Market day in Benissa on a Saturday is worth going to. This is not a tourist market, although there is such a one in the nearby towns of Moraira on a Friday or Calpe on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

To get to our country villa in Benissa, near Moraira, you can either fly into Alicante or Valencia airports or take the Brittany Ferries to Santander or Bilbao. The casita is approximately one and a quarter hours travel from Valencia and only 50 minutes from Alicante. Airlines such as Easyjet and Ryanair go into these airports. It is a two night trip if you are travelling by ferry and an eight hour drive across the country to Benissa.
