Home description
Casa Susanna is a lovely well furnished and equipped 3 bedroom spanish villa, built 3 years ago to the owners high standards. The villa is south facing with sun shining on the large pool (10 x 5m) all day. The 3 bedroom living accommodation is all on one level with doors leading out to the terrace area and pool. The terrace area has a large table and 8 chairs plus 4 sunloungers. The surrounding gardens have been created to a high standard with fruit trees and many varying shrubs & plants, although still suitable for children to run around. The main bedroom has a superking double bed and is also large enough to accommodate a cot, it has an ensuite bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom and one has a king size double and the other has 2 singles. The villa is situated in a quiet area on Cumbre del Sol which is half way between Alicante and Valencia Airports. A car is needed although there is a new shopping centre opened which is a 10 minute walk away with restaurants, bars and cafe's. There is a beautiful pebble beach which is 5 minutes drive away and a sandy beach in Moraira which is about 15 minutes. The theme parks of Terra Mitica and other parks are about 40 minutes away.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca has some stunning coastline and just a short distance inland the scenery is rugged and spectacular. Cumbre Del Sol is situated an hour and fifteen minutes drive from Alicante and Valencia, Benidorm is 40 minutes towards Alicante. Nearby Gata de Gorges is 20 minutes away for a wonderful selection of locally made basketware and gifts. The wonderful mountain top village of Guadalest with stunning views, restaurants and local shops is about 1 hour's drive away and makes a lovely day out.
Moraira / Benitachell/Cumbre del Sol area
Moraira is a lovely spanish seaside unspoilt town with a harbour and marina. Lovely selection of restaurants and a holiday atmosphere which make it a lovely place to walk around, it has a safe sandy beach ideal for children (lifeguards on duty during summer months) parking alongside. The friday market is a must for fresh produce and other local items. There is a sports marina at the harbour with facilities for all type of water sports. Just a short walk from Moraira is El Portet a very attractive small beach with bars and restaurants and Le Dauphine Restaurant, a very exclusive restaurant for that special evening. Havea Golf Club is 10 minutes drive away through Benitachell with full length 9-hole course. Further golf available at Denia and on the road to Calpe. Walking is a popular pastime in this area with some organised walks. Cumbre del Sol has its own supermarket and shopping precinct (newly built) with several restaurants, bars, cafes, hairdresser , beautician, children's amusement area etc. The shopping precinct is only 10 minutes walk from the villa. Cumbre also has its own pretty pebble beach with parking and snack bar.
How to get there
Fly to Alicante (preferable) or Valencia airports both about 1 hour 15 minutes from the villa. Hire cars available from the Airports and its a fairly straightforward journey along the motoway E15/A7 to Junction 63 from Alicante and 62 from Valencia. Further details will be sent to you on receipt of final balance. Meet and greet can be arranged at your expense. Alternatively you can travel by car as we have done from St Malo driving through France and Spain which takes 2 days with one overnight stop.

Further details indoors: The villa has been well furnished and equipped to the owners high standards. Cots & highchairs can be hired if needed. The villa is on one level with one step from carport to front door. The lounge dining and kitchen area are open plan. There are 3 sofa's in the lounge one of which is a sofa bed. English TV is available. There is air-conditioning, central heating and pool heating if required.
Further details outdoors: Leading from the lounge area is the Naya (covered area) which has a large table with 8 chairs for dining outside, there is also a BBQ and 4 sunbeds. The terrace is south facing and the pool is 10 x 5 metres, heating is available is needed (but there will be a charge for this) - please specify when booking. The views from the terrace are wonderful, especially when the sun sets! This is all on one level and enclosed to make is safe for children. The gardens are all around the villa but below the terrace and pool area, they have been created to a high standard with areas for children to run around.
