Parques Casablanca is a beautiful apartment/hotel complex in hills near La Fustera Cove between Moraira and Calpe encompassing both the freedom of an apartment holiday and the advantages of a luxury hotel just as you choose. Our apartment sits atop the highest point in the complex with sweeping views across beautifully landscaped pools, down to the sea and the Rock Ifach at Calpe, with gentle green hillsides behind.
The pool bar (seasonal) serves drinks, snacks and light bites and is located in a shaded area pool-side.
There is also an on-site Spa with heated indoor pool, well equipped gymnasium, jaccuzi and sauna.

The apartment is fully equipped for 6 people (with use of sofa bed) and the large living space is complemented by an elegant yet business like kitchen, luxury shower room with twin basins and double sized shower, and a very large terrace which serves as an extra, outdoor room and is furnished with additional dining table and chairs plus recliners. The apartments is smartly furnished, but comfort is our priority... after - you're on holiday. Cots are available on request at a small additional cost.
There is Satellite TV (including English TV), DVD & CD Players with an excellent DVD & CD library. Free WIFI internet access is available within the apartment and also at specific locations within the complex.
Washing machine and laundry equipment is kept in small ante-room away from kitchen/living area.

Security, modern technology and easy access to all areas feature highly here, along with such facilities as a manned Reception (24-hr assistance), comfortable and shady Poolside Bar (seasonal) and secure allocated underground carparking space with lift s to upper levels. A separate building within the complex houses the Spa with indoor pool, spa, jacuzzi and fitness equipment - prices available from Reception (currently €20 per person per week or €5 per person per day).
The whole complex is wheelchair friendly with lifts, spacious walkways and wide openings. There are no keys - a swipe card grants entry to the apartment. Lights come on magically in front of you and turn themselves off again behind you. Hi-tech, yes, but with a friendly feel and use of use.

The apartment is furnished along modern, clean lines and we hope we have provided everything you will need.. and a little more. Our inside dining table provides seating for 6 when extended. Our sofa bed has been carefully chosen for both comfort and ease of operation and there is somewhere to store bedlinen during the day. The bedrooms are of comfortable (almost equal) size and provide lots of hanging space in large mirrored wardrobes with high specification fittings. The Master Bedroom opens onto the Terrace and is next door to the creamy marble-tiled Shower Room with twin basins and over-sized shower. Bedroom 2 can be twin or double. The kitchen has a dishwasher and has been meticulously equipped.
Considerate smokers are welcome to smoke on the terrace - smoking inside may set the smoke detector off!
Although we do not provide beach towels, to save space and weight in your suitcases these can be hired from Reception at Parques Casablanca for a small fee of 3 Euros per towel. This just covers the laundry charge. There is a 7 Euros refundable deposit payable per beach towel.
Conditions
A 25% non-refundable deposit is payable upon completion of our Booking Form to secure the reservation. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. We do also request a refundable Security Deposit of £150 which is refunded immediately after your holiday upon confirmation from the Management at Parques Casablanca that all has been left in order.

This area of Spain enjoys a very temperate climate and even in mid-summer is not unbearable with the cooling air blowing gently in from the Mediterranean. Winter is generally sunny and pleasant. There are a few days when the rain falls, helping to keep the countryside green and fertile, but there are also days where, despite the calendar, you may well be able to get those shorts out and even go for a swim.
A 10 to 15 minute drive in one direction takes you to the seaside resort of Calpe with its famous Rock of Ifache. This measures 332 metres in height and is a natural park zone. For those wishing to get a breathtaking view of the coastline it is well worth the climb up the zigzagging path to the top.
A little further away in the other direction, past the larger resort of Javea, brings you to the Jalon Valley with spectacular mountain scenery and Bodegas for tasting the local wine.
The Moraira area
The small sandy cove of La Fustera is walkable or a couple of minutes by car. Just 10 to 15 mins along the Coast Road brings you to either Moraira or Calpe, each with its own style. The youngsters in your party might enjoy the buzz of Calpe, but others may be seduced by the authentic Spanish charms of Moraira with its still bustling fish market and large Friday morning market. Known as the Millionaires Playground, Moraira oozes style and character, and the evening promenade from Beach to Plaza to Marina (always filled with dazzling boats) shouldn't be missed. There are restaurants to suit everyone and a choice of two sandy good-sized beaches.
There are plenty of activities to suit everyone - from leisurely boat trips to the more energetic water sports, fishing trips, golf, tennis, cycling, horse riding and walking. You may also like to visit Benidorm's Terra Mitica Theme Park or Aqualandia .... or just stay at the sandy Fustera Cove with its beach bars.

Moraira is more or less equidistant from both Alicante and Valencia airports. The journey takes just over an hour, mostly along the AP-7 motorway (toll-road) which generally carries little traffic in this area. The usual low-cost airlines operate from both airports, although Murcia is also now well-used and is only about an hour and a half away using the same road.
Car-hire is easily and efficiently arranged at all of these airports, and we can make recommendations to you at the time of booking. We also have details of a good taxi service, but car-hire is recommended with this apartment.

Our second visit to the apartment. All very good as last time. This time we made use of the indoor pool/jacuzzi which was very nice after a day out at the beach. |

We usually stay in Calpe but always find ourselves heading for La Fustera for the pretty walkway along the cliffs above the beach. Really glad we found this apartment which is only 800m from La Fustera beach. It is in a beautiful position, one of the highest in the complex therefore getting a good view of the sea and surroundings. It is very comfortably furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The wi fi is a much appreciated bonus and the secure complex means less worry about taking a laptop. There is English satellite tv with most freesat channels although you can choose other language satellites instead by telling reception. The large terrace is perfect to appreciate the sunrise and for breakfast looking over the sea. The complex is very attractive and well maintained and is of a higher standard than others we have stayed at. Secure parking is included in the price which is also good, if you have 2 cars there is some quiet street parking nearby. 2 lifts or a few flights of stairs are needed to get from the garage to the apartment so it can be a bit difficult carrying luggage and heavy shopping. Easy slightly downhill walk to La Fustera beach and a little further to other small bays eg la Llobella or cala Advocat. Larger sandy beaches at Calpe and Moraira are within a 10 minute drive. There are numerous large supermarkets at Calpe and Moraira too and a small one 10 minutes walk away for fresh bread in the morning. The staff at reception are very helpful and friendly. We will definitely book this apartment again and would recommend it to our friends. |
