Pueblo Monte Cala is a small private development located on an exclusive area of Cumbre del Sol. Two properties are available.
CALA MIGUEL is the lower dwelling of three linked properties, it has a large terrace completly private with stunning views across the bernia mountains . The house has been furnished to a very high standard and is 2 minutes walk away from the bar and swimming pool / spa area which is exclusive for guests staying at Pueblo Monte Cala. It boasts all the mod cons one would expect from such a property including airconditioning/ heating. It comprises of an entrance hallway leading to a bright & airy lounge/dining room with patio doors leading to a furnished private terrace for ál fresco’ dining. The terrace has a large table and six chairs together with a barbacue area with seating The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. It has two bedroms - the main one has twin beds and the second has full size bunks. There is a double "futon" sofa bed in the lounge. The house and area is ideal for a wonderful relaxing holiday in a truly unique location.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Cumbre del Sol is in an area of outstanding natural beauty,the sea views and rugged coastline is dramatic. Inland one can look across to the mountains and the varied landscape.the climate is one of the mildest and stable in Europe, even in the winter months during the daytime temperatures can reach late 60 s till sunset.
The area is only 15 mins off junction 63 of the A 7 motorway , going south the historic town of Altea is the next junction down , with its lovely old buildings and church and lively port area , beyond that the next junction is Benidorm for night-life, superb beaches, shops and theme parks. Heading north to Valencia and the orange blossom coast will lead to the port of Denia where your car can board a ferry to Ibiza or inland to the beautiful Jalon valley.
Moraira / Cumbre del Sol area
The house on Pueblo Monte Cala is 8km from the lovely market town of Moraira , there is a lovely marina frontage with shops and cafes/ bars. The market is held 1 day a week, there are local markets in Javea, Altea, Villayoser, Benidorm and Denia all within 10 to30 km of Cumbre del Sol.
Diving is popular in the area and all water sports are also available, there are two local beaches near to the house. El Portet is a lovely sandy cove just at the bottom of Cumbre del Sol - about 10 mins in the car , a little nearer is Playa de Moraig with its more rugged location (see pictures ). There are many feistas in the Spanish year and details can be found at the bistro and pool bar on Pueblo Monte Cala.
Last year the shopping and bar / restaurant complex opened nearby called Los Linderos this serves the local residents with a bank, bakery bars cafe and eaterys. We have three supermarkets locally apart from the ones in Moriara and Javea
How to get there
All major low cost airlines fly to Alicante from the UK and Europe, flights to Madrid and Barcelona are worldwide with connecting flights to Alicante. Flight operators have links to all the car hire companies at Alicante airport and can be booked with flights at the same time.
The ferries go from major UK ports to northern France and to northern Spain for those wishing to drive down . Cumbre del sol is a ten min drive off the A7 motorway at the Benissa junction about 85 km south of Valencia and 70 kms north of Alicante

We have just returned from a lovely short Easter break staying in Casa Miguel. It was everything we had hoped for; serene, beautiful views, clean and bright interior with exceptional facilities, set in a peaceful landscape but very close to attractive coastal towns such as Moraira and Denia for tasty restaurants and a wide range of bars.
