Casa de Fianna is situated within easy walking distance of both El Portet and Moraira. It offers wonderful family accommodation, a large private pool set within spacious private terraces and gardens. The gardens are mature and well kept and offer many shady spots amongst the palm trees. The lounge and dining room has two sets of double doors leading on to the upper terrace, the perfect spot for that first evening drink watching the spectacular sunsets. Beautiful mountain and sea views.

Moraira is a small coastal town, still referred to as a 'village' by the locals. It has a quiet relaxing atmosphere and is surrounded by beautiful unspoilt scenery. Moraira nestles between the Mediterranean Sea and Jalon Valley. It has an impressive marina, an excellent selection of shops and many restaurants and bars. Wonderful Spanish markets in many nearby towns in addition to Moraira's famous Friday market.

Moraira is far away from the high rise package holidays yet within 30 minutes of Benidorm which offers many theme parks. Wonderful National Parks are within easy reach to enjoy spectacular walking and scenery.
So many times of the year you will be able to find a Spanish festival to enjoy.

We stayed at Fianna with friends during September 2011. The villa was very comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated and fully equipped with everything you need for a wonderful holiday! I would recommend Fianna to anybody visiting the area and hopefully we will return for another stay in the future! |

On arrival at the villa we were very pleased with what we had chosen, the villa was just as the pictures. Great sized villa with a secluded pool area. There is an upper balcony which is great for eating out, sitting having a drink while watching the sun go down. The location of the villa is in a residential area which is very quiet day and night. To walk into Moraria, which we did regularly, is between a 10-15 minute walk down hill. Although we did walk back up at nights it felt very safe, a taxi from Moraira to the villa was 6 euros, hence we did not walk up the hill very often. Across the road from the villa there is a very nice restaurant and pub run by an English family, great food and very pleasant hosts. I must stress that even with the pub there is absolutely no noise at nights. Moraira is a location where we have been before and will return to in the future. Moraira has managed to keep a very good balance between the traditional Spanish feel and tourism. Huge Friday market in the square where you can find everything. There is a supermarket at the end of the street which served all our needs during our stay. If you like beaches there are two large beaches to choose from in Moraira and many smaller ones if you drive slightly further from Moraira. Enjoy. |
