About the home

Vissta Portet has it all, five bedrooms, two terraces and a solarium with wonderful views, garden, a large private pool terrace, a large garage and it's very own Squash Court, and all of this is located within a 5-10 minute walk to El Portet beach or a fifteen minute walk to Moraira town. You enter the property through ornate electronic gates, into a parking area and garage in front of the floodlit squash court. Inside there is a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area with an open fire and access into the large naya and terrace, three bedrooms [1 double, 1 twin and one single], bathroom and shower room.
1000sq metre private plot.

Up the marble staircase to the second level one double bedroom, a small twin bedroom and a bathroom. From this level there is also access to the solarium.
All Bedrooms and living areas have air-conditioning and heating.
Wi fi internet is also available.

2 doubles, 2 twin rooms and 1 small bedroom with a single bed that has another bed that can be pulled out to make 2 singles or 1 double. The 'Kangaroo' is a single bed with a second bed cleverly concealed in the base. The 'Roo' simply slides out on castors and, with secure metal locking legs, can be raised to the same height as the main bed. The bed can be two single beds or a large double. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.
Mattress's replaced September 2011.
Bathrooms renovated June 2011.

Large swimming pool. some pool inflatables can be found in the garage. By the swimming pool there is a BBQ, sun loungers, table & chairs, outside shower and also a WC/cloakroom.
Squash court with squash rackets supplied.
There is a garage, and there is also hard standing outside the garage for a further 3 cars.
The Garage also has another fridge freezer and sink which is handy to keep drinks in as there is access from the Pool / BBQ area here.
Villa check in time is from 4pm 1600hrs, Villa check out time is 10am.

A high chair & cot is available for babies and small children, please request at time of booking if these items are needed.
Please also note that the Villa has a A SQAUSH COURT and not A TENNIS COURT.
Squash rackets are also available at the villa for guest use.
The squash court has floodlights for use in the evening, the floodlights are coin operated with two euros.

Wi-fi Internet is available at the villa for an additional £30 per booking.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Moraira is a small town in the La Marina about half way between Alicante 80 kms to its south and Valencia 108 kms to its north. Moraira remains one of the most unspoilt resorts on the Costa Blanca, with 8km of beautiful coastline backed by mountains

There are local fiestas throughout the year, however If you are lucky to be there in July, the Patron Saint is the Virgin of the Unsheltered and the Virgin of Carmen who is said to protect the sailors and fishermen. There is a beautiful parade and fireworks and a water procession with the statue of the Virgin floating among endless bouquets of flowers. Quite a scene to be seen!

The Moraira / El Portet area

Lots of activities nearby for both children and the young at heart, Go-Carting, Mini Golf, Tennis, Scuba diving, Sailing, Wind Surfing and much more. Benidorm is a 30 minute drive away where there are theme and water parks and the famous Benidorm Palace.

There are nearby golf courses, plenty of places to explore on foot and bicycle.
Local markets as well as a variety of shops in Moraira.

Moraira is very easy to get to, as there are 2 main airports that service the Costa Blanca. Alicante Airport (ALC) is no more than 1 hour away form Moraira and Valencia Airport (VLC) is about 1 hour and 20mins away. Numerous airlines fly into both these airports including budget airlines such as Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2.com and many more.

Both Airports have car hire companies such as Avis, Hertz, Goldcar, Solmar etc.
There is not a direct bus service from the airports to Moraira; however the airport bus service does take you to Calpe, Teulada where you can then get a taxi onto Moraira. You can also get an Airport taxi direct to Moraira expect to pay approx 125 Euros from Alicante and around 150 from Valencia.
The motorway nearest Moraira is the A7, please email for directions.

“Superb” First class house and location, everything a family could want. The pool was excellent and cleaned regularly, the rooms were well equipped and changed on a weekly basis. The air conditioning was much appreciated as the weather was really hot. All in all would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

“Ideal holiday villa for large parties” We had a girls holiday here recently and the villa ticked all the boxes for us. The villa is extremely spacious, located on a large plot with plenty of sunbathing areas and a good sized pool. Three separate eating out areas - one in the shade for daytime meals and the vila is still bathed in sunshine until late in the evening so would be ideal for evening BBQs. Two of the bedrooms downstairs had doors opening directly onto the terrace. The villa is about a ten minute uphill walk from El Portet and then a further twenty minutes into Moraira. so a car is only really necessary to get to and from the airport. There's a small supermarket in El Portet where there's also a handful of bars and restaurants although only one (Oasis) is open in the evening so for more choice, head to Moraira. Highly recommended!
