The villa boasts a light and airy living room and dining area with large windows that benefit from the views South West down the coast to the mountains beyond. The kitchen has been recently re-stocked with high quality home cooking utensils and crockery. This includes a wide selection of plates, bowls, cups etc and a selection of glasses as well as a cafetierre. Nothing beats fresh orange juice and a cup of fresh coffee on the terrace in the morning - except perhaps the sunset the night before! The living room boasts a lovely open log fire to snuggle around in case you need it - along with a selection of DVDs and 30 Satellite Channels on the television.
Both bedrooms benefit from sumptuous bedding, ample storage and bedside tables with reading lights. All linen is provided along with towels. If you like a bit of extra comfort, additional pillows can be found in the wardrobes! If you need a travel cot, please let us know so that we can arrange this for you!
The fully tiled bathroom features high quality fittings including bidet, bath and shower. The utility room features washing machine, iron and board, storage etc.
If you require anything else, including Welcome Packs (basic grocery etc), do not hesitate to let us know as these items can usually be arranged if booked in advance.

The property benefits from a large corner plot and elevated view with a large south-west facing part-covered terrace. There are exterior lights for the evenings and enough seating for four along with a large table for al-fresco dining. In addition, there are two sun-loungers and a barbecue. The garden has been landscaped in a traditional Spanish style with a variety of plants and trees.
The front of the property benefits from a driveway.

BookThe Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca is well known for it's beautiful white sandy beaches. North of Benidorm the terrain becomes mountainous with dramatic cliff-tops and spectacular views. The fishing village of Moraira is close by and has miles of beautiful Blue-flag beaches, boutiques, and beach side restaurants. It has a Marina and is extremely popular with snorklers and Scuba Divers. Inland there are many picturesque villages, including Guadalest with it's Castell built in the 11th Century and Baroque Catholic Church built around 1750. This area of Spain is also famous for it's miles and miles of Orange and Lemon groves.
Other places of interest include Altea, Calpe, Denia (with ferries for day trips to Ibiza), and Javea (The Pearl of the Costa Blanca). Valencia is only 100 Km to the North, while Benidorm is nearby to the South with all it has to offer along with the Aqualandia Water Park and Terra Mitica Theme Park.
The area has numerous golf course, miles of beaches, regular markets and festivals and a fabulous climate.
The Moraira / Cumbre del Sol area
Moraira is a beautiful former fishing village bursting with history and charm. The beautiful sandy beach is within walking distance of the village centre, and a number of restaurants line the streets nearby. The marina is always bustling with large and impressive yachts and is well worth a visit. There is an annual festival in the summer (June), and a weekly market. There are also a number of pretty shops and boutiques.
The Cumbre del Sol is a large and exclusive residential development between the towns of Moraira and Javea. Set high on the cliffs, the area has some extraordinary panoramic views of the Mediterranean and is an area of extraordinary natural beauty. The development itself is divided into different areas with a variety of Spanish Style Villas, gardens, pools, and it's own beach (with restaurant).
Within walking distance, the immediate area also benefits from it's own Community Pools (free to use and exclusively for the use of residents/guests with Bar/Bistro and free WI-FI), restaurants and pub. Also close by are a number of supermarkets, pharmacy and a bank. Moraira, with all it's facilities can be reached in about 10-15 minutes by car.

Nearest airports are Alicante and Valencia, with Alicante being slightly closer. Journey time is between 1 hour, and 1.5 hours.
A number of airlines offer cheap flights including EasyJet, Ryanair and Monarch.
Car rental is required with all major firms on-site at the airport.
From Alicante head North, from Valencia head south - in both cases on the A7/E15 motorway. Take junction 63 - signposted Teulada/Moraira and follow signs for Benitachell / Cumbre del Sol. A meet and greet service can be arranged if required.
Off road parking for one car is available at the villa.

We had a week at this lovely villa in early September 2012 and wished we could have booked a fortnight. The area is really beautiful, with lovely beaches and towns dotted right up the coast in each direction. The drive up the hill to the villa development (from the local supermarket, Mercadona) is stunning, and although there aren't any of the amazing sea views from the villa, the sunset views over the distant hills more than make up for it. The villa is very well appointed, with comfortable, good quality furniture and fittings. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, and the person who met us locally was really friendly, making us feel as though nothing was too much trouble. Once we'd stocked up on amazing produce from Mercadona, we just enjoyed lounging on the terrace, reading. We ate in Moraira a couple of times, visited Calpe (great fish restaurants which are very reasonably priced and competitive about attracting custom), Denia, Javea, etc, but none were as lovely as Moraira, in our opinion. The community pool is a 2-minute drive (or a short walk, but it's quite a steep hill back and we were feeling pathetic) and we visited once, for a perfectly pleasant meal, some beers and the weekly pub quiz! It's quite 'expat' but very friendly. We'd definitely return to this beautiful part of Spain and this really lovely villa. |

The apartment on Cumbre del Sol is well furnished and equipped for a holiday even in the hottest month. The contemporary finish and cooker, fridge freezer, fans, comfortable furniture, good bathroom, separate utility room and space allow for a very relaxing villa. Lovely view from the terrace make the evening relaxation very pleasant. The community pool is large, but needs some more furniture to ensure seating everyday for visitors. Located ideally either side for the beautiful Cap de Nau or Moraira there are many supermarkets and a number of beaches within 15 minutes drive, however you do need a car. Great place. |

We wanted a peaceful, relaxing family holiday and found it at Cumbre Del Sol. The villa was very comfortable and well equipped with stunning mountain views from the verandah. Even in peak season it was peaceful as many of the neighbours are year-round residents rather than holiday makers. The gated swimming pool complex, with bar and low key evening entertainment, is fabulous, with an infinity pool and larger pool below and our children loved swimming there day and night. Having travelled to a number of different areas of Spain, this has to rate as our favourite - greener and prettier than further south. The nearest town of Moraira is described as the St Tropez of Spain and we also loved nearby Javea and even managed a day trip to Valencia. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and sightseeing and exactly what we needed. |
