This 2-bed apartment is bright, comfortable and airy, and has the added benefit of having two infinity pools right outside the door. The property is well maintained and has all basic facilities, as well as air conditioning and satellite TV with international channels.
The area itself is peaceful and the accommodation is situated on a hillside with marvellous sea views. A hire car is essential here as there are no facilities within easy walking distance. However, shops and Moraig beach are only 5-minutes' drive away. Golf and first-class sandy beaches are just a 10- to 15-minute drive from your place of stay. Montgo National Park near Denia and Terra Mitica theme park near Benidorm are less than 40 minutes away.

Smart and comfortable 2-bed apartment
Tastefully furnished, and to a high quality, this apartment sleeps four people comfortably. Bedroom 1 has two single beds, bedroom 2 has one king-size bed and a dressing table (each room with built-in wardrobes). The lounge furniture comprises a dining table and four chairs, a very comfortable sofa bed, one easy chair, a coffee table, book shelf and a TV unit.

You won't want to come off the terrace once you see the view. Enjoy a cool drink while relaxing on a sun lounger or dine al fresco whilst admiring the sultry Spanish coastline. This apartment has the added benefit of being situated right next door to two award-winning infinity pools, complete with separate facilities and a large sun canopy. Sunbeds are available, too.

The history of this area dates back some 18,000 years. It is a coastal municipality with a history of agriculture and fishing. The area has a typical Mediterranean climate of hot summers and mild winters, but it does have more rain than many parts of Spain, which keeps the land green and striking. The air quality is also some of the best in Europe.
Local coastal towns include: Calpe with its superb fish restaurants; Denia; and Altea with its hill top restaurants; Guadelest; and the beautiful Jalon Valley. Also Benidorm, which is around 45 minutes away with its long sandy beach and attractions. Javea is only 7km away and is a small, historic town, free of high-rise buildings. The beautiful, sandy bay is planted with palm trees and has play areas for children. The bay is fringed by the promenade with its wonderful choice of bars and restaurants. Moraira has several beaches, which are gently-shelving and sandy. Other local leisure facilities include three large golf courses; tennis, football and squash facilities; all water sports; boat hire and trips; horse-riding; go-kart racing tracks for both adults and children; a small fairground; and three good nightclubs for all ages.
The Moraira / Benitachell/Cumbre del Sol area
This is a quiet and relaxing area for couples, families and small groups. There is a complex just a three-minute drive away with supermarket, bank, pharmacy, swimming pool, and a cafe and bar/restaurant, serving well-presented food. Good walking and riding facilities nearby.
Sea warms up in April and so do swimming pools!
Moraira/Benitachell area
Beaches
El Moraig beach is about 250m long and is a mix of coarse sand and pebbles. Water quality is outstanding and is perfect for swimming, diving and scuba diving. The beach can be accessed by car and is well signposted from Cumbre del Sol. During the summer months there is a bar and restaurant, and lifeguard facilities.
Fiestas
Festivals in many local towns during the summer months. For example, in Benitatxell alone there are festivities in honour of the Virgin of the Rosary in May and in honour of Saint Magdalena in July. The fiesta schedule comprises parades, fireworks, bull running and wonderful local food.
Nearest golf course (Javea) is a 5-minute drive, while La Sella is 15 minutes' drive away.

1) From Alicante, take the highway towards Valencia
Exit 63, direction Teulada (road N-332)
In Teulada take the CV740 towards Benitachell
Go through the village following the direction Javea. Go through one set of traffic lights. At the next set of traffic lights, which is a fork in the road, take the right-hand fork towards Cumbre del Sol. Continuing following the directions from paragraph 3.
2) From Valencia, take the highway A7-E15 towards Alicante, take exit 62 (Denia, Javea, Ondara) off the A7 motorway. Then take the N-332 (national rd in the general direction of Alicante) towards Javea. Next, take CV734 (sign posted) to Javea. Approximately 2 km before entering Javea there is a large roundabout with a metal sculpture of a yacht with a large sail. Turn right onto the CV740, direction Benitachell. Follow this road straight ahead for approx. 4km until you reach a set of traffic lights. There is a sign on the right saying Benitachell 1km. Ignore it and keep going straight ahead. You will first cross a small bridge, then a roundabout. Go straight ahead, passing a green house/restaurant called "Al Giardino" on your right. You will pass Javea Golf Club on your left, two petrol stations on your right, then a large supermarket called masymas on your left, which is by some traffic lights. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left and follow the signs to Cumbre Del Sol.
3) Follow road uphill for approx 1.5km. When the road levels out, you will see a round building on your right, which is the north entrance information centre. The road narrows at this point and there is a central island dividing the two lanes. Turn right as the island finishes and go right up the hill towards Pueblo Panorama. Go past the first turning on the left and carry on until you see what looks like a sentry box on the right-hand side of the road. Opposite the box is a left-hand turning with a no-entry sign. This used to be the turning into Calle Vistamar, but they've made it a one-way street. Continue driving for about 1/2 km. There are speed bumps all along this road and apartments on your left. You'll then see a fork in the road (the right-hand fork rises sharply). Take the left-hand fork and, almost immediately, turn left round a sharp bend. This takes you into Calle Vistamar. Drive for about 1/4 km until you see a long wall painted orange/terracotta on your right. That's the wall surrounding the swimming pool. Park up and look left as you face that wall. You'll see a gate that leads down some steps. The swimming pools will be on your right and number 75 Vistamar is the first apartment on the left off those steps.
