The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca is one of the most popular and attractive destinations in Spain. It has miles of white sandy beaches, mountains, and has interesting cultural centres steeped in history, Valencia and Alicante. It has a wonderfully warm Mediterranean climate, lovely and hot in the summer, and clean seas and skies, and there are delightful little villages throughout.
Within 30 minute drive, for children there is Mundomar marina park, Aqualandia water park, two Safari parks, Go-karting and the world class Theme park Terra Mitica. For adults numerous golf courses and Go-karting.
Moraira / Central Moraira area
Moraira is one of the prettiest spots on the Costa Blanca, with the beautiful Mediterranean sea and white sandy beaches on one side, and the tropical region on the Jalon Valley on the other - with the orange, almond, lemon and olive trees making it typical and beautiful. It is not developed with high rise blocks and so forth, so has maintained its typical Spanish feel. You can find excellent cuisine in Moraira, and it is the perfect holiday destination - whatever you need.
The town offers numerous Cafes, bars and restaurants. A weekly market. And for children fair ground, trampolines, safe sandy beach and an astro sports arena. All within easy walking distance, making a car not essential.
How to get there
Fly to Alicante or Valencia - there are many budget airlines that fly from the UK - such as BMI, BMI Baby, easyJet, Monarch, Jet2, Thompson, Air Scotland just to name a few.
Moraira is located on the Northern Costa Blanca, between the larger towns of Calpe and Javea and only 45 minutes drive from Alicante airport.
