Conveniently located a few hundred yards from the glorious golden beach of El Portet, and only five minutes drive into the cosmopolitan resort of Moraira. Apartment Bahia is one of a small block of 8 apartments that have been converted from the old chandlery, and is equipped with everything for a memorable holiday. Enjoy lazy days by the pool or, for sun worshippers, head for the roof terrace, with stunning views of the sea and surrounding hills, makes this the ideal place for relaxing. The property is also close to Valencia airport. All on first floor (via 8 steps): Living room with patio door. Kitchenette. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 bunk with additional single bed. Shower room with toilet. Air conditioning (living room and double bedroom only) payable locally. Video. Stereo/CD. M/wave. Terrace and furniture. Balcony. Roof terrace (accessed via 16 steps). •We would like to keep to a change over Saturday to Saturday where ever possible in the season.
This allows some privacy if you want to sunbath or escape the other apartment users but generally it's the washing lines that prove the most useful as a good breeze up high ensures on a sunny day your washing is dry in a matter of hours. There are sun loungers and screened plants here for your relaxation and enjoyment.
All windows have mosquito nets to ensure no unwanted visitors have a 'drink' in the night. Keep lights off at night and doors & windows closed as a preventive measure.
This has been fitted for your benefit, please be sensible with its use in terms of the global environment and the cost of running it. This year we we will charge separately for electricity as the unit runs with ots own meter, a £50 per week advance deposit is required and a refund is issued 14 days after departure.

Platja del Portet (Portet Beach) is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment with golden sand, turquoise waters and a few café bars.
Blue Flag beaches in Moraira are clean, well looked after and safe for families.
Platja de l'Ampolla is just 500m from Moraira's Club Nautico Marina and is ideal for sunbathing, sailing, diving, jet-skiing and water skiing.
The beaches south of Moraira are excellent for snorkelling.

500m from El Portet (bars, restaurants, beach), 1.5km from Moraira (beach, most facilities), 120km N of Alicante (all facilities). Only the eight apartments can use the pool, it is not for any other property. Rarely are all eight apartments let the same weeks, until 2008 ours was only used 8 weeks per year if that for example. We have some very basic general pool rules, no use before 8am or after 10pm, keep your ‘toys’ and ‘floats’ cleared away after use so the concierge can maintain the pool on a daily basis unhindered.
Local leisure facilities include golf courses and other sports like tennis and squash. Several day excursions are on offer to places of interest, like the mountain-top fortress of Guadalest, Europe's largest palm forest, and the nearby ancient city of Murcia. Families enjoy the Moraira go-kart track, or an outing to the Aqualandia water theme park near the large resort of Benidorm.

"Perfect, ideal location, near beach and shops"
I stayed at this apartment in July 2009 with my husband and one teenage son. It was a perfect location for us, just a short walk from the beach and a slightly longer walk to the main town of Moraira. The apartment was very clean and the air conditioning was welcome during this time. The swimming pool inviting and the surrounding area pleasant to sit and have a drink. Local restaurant and mini supermarket also a bonus. I would highly recommend this apartment.
Since this family stayed with us a £15,000 investment has been completed on the apartment with all electrical appliances replaced, kitchen gutted and refurbished, bathroom refurbished, new leather sofas, Satellite 32" Flat screen TV with Free view HD Digibox and air conditioning in all rooms. I think I can safely say it is one of the smartest addresses in town.

"The best apartment on the Costa Blanca Coastline - utterly brilliant"
We normally rent a villa near Puerto Banus in Marbella but economic times are hard for us all so that luxury went or so we thought,,,,,we wanted to visit Moraira having heard from friends how much nicer it was than the Marbella side of Spain....Boy were we not disappointed. This place oozes style and class, never again will we be darkening Puerto Banus shoreline, El Portet, Moraira is our new destination and the kids loved it too - an added bonus!
The appt had everything we'd wish for in a compact but not cramped living space, we particularly enjoyed the balcony and the front terrace for meals as it adds space to the living accommodation plus for us Brits another luxury!
Cannot rate this appt highly enough, its 2 minutes walk from the sea, a mini supermarket 1 minute walk away for fresh bread, newspapers and everything you really need. The pizza / pasta restaurant is again a minutes' walk away and very handy after a hard day on the beach if you just want to be lazy as we did twice!
iPod docking station was a hit as were the comprehensive range of DVD's and videos - when we all wanted to get out of the midday sun.
Moraira is charming with a nightly street market dozens of restaurants - I'd say 50 in total the choice is endless.
A hidden gem of a location, very reasonable considering friends paid more and their 'walking distance' was 45 minutes [2.6 miles from the beach] compared to our 1/10th mile 2 minute walk.
We did alot of excursions and particularly enjoyed the 2 hour jet ski to Javea a must do for the adrenalin junkies!
Its refreshing to hear that other guests love this beautiful coastline as much as we do especially when they've holidayed many times in a different area of Spain. Our apartment is very well maintained and kept immaculate by our Dutch housekeepers who ensure that each new arrival has the perfect start to tranquility and rest.
