Comfortably furnished, air-conditioned 2 bedroom corner villa (sleeps 4 + 1 infant on request), quietly situated in an elevated position with stunning views down the valley to the sea, and just a few minutes drive from the sought-after seaside town of Moraira, 3 lovely beaches, a large supermarket, and a huge choice of restaurants to suit all tastes & budgets.
The villa is on one level on a flat plot, has a sunny private garden which overlooks the large community pool (shared by only 16 villas), and stunning views down the valley to the sea.
It is perfect for families, as the villa has spacious living areas, a secure garden, and is adjacent to the pool, but also offers couples a romantic setting in which to enjoy the fabulous views and dine al-fresco in the garden.
The property is also well positioned for exploring the local area and beyond.
We are happy to accept bookings for part-weeks (subject to a minimum of 7 days), the extra days being charged pro-rata, and arrival/departure days are flexible.
SMOKING is not permitted inside the villa, but allowed in the garden/outside areas.

Furnished throughout in traditional Spanish pine, the living/dining room opens onto a sunny, fully-glazed naya (terrace) which is used as another sitting room and this, in turn, opens onto the garden which overlooks the pool.
The fully equipped kitchen is open plan to the living area. The washing machine is situated under cover at the rear of the property.
There is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a family shower room.
Cot can be provided for an infant on request, for a small extra charge payable locally.
The villa has full hot/cold air conditioning, satellite UK TV, and a CD player.
Smoking is only permitted in the garden.

Situated on a select development, the spacious pool is shared by only 16 properties, and has a shallow toddlers' area.
The private, landscaped garden is secure, in full sun nearly all day, and has a table & chairs and sun loungers for outside dining and sunbathing. The garden gate leads directly to the pool area, and there is parking space at the side of the villa.

PLACES TO VISIT:
BENIDORM: (approx. 45 mins drive): Major tourist resort, very commercial, lots of shops, the best beaches in Europe, and unrivaled nightlife. TERRA MITICA THEME PARK, TERRA NATURA WILDLIFE PARK, AQUALANDIA WATER PARK, & MUNDOMAR (dolphin & sea lion shows) are all located here. Great fun for all ages! Also BENIDORM PALACE for a good meal, flamenco cabaret, & dancing.
CALPE (25 mins drive): Rock of Ifach - a bird/wildlife sanctuary - & Las Salinas Salt Lakes - where pink flamingos congregate. There is also an interesting port area that has some fantastic fish restaurants.
ALTEA (30 mins drive): A coastal town with its own fishing fleet & dating back to 1562. Old town is very quaint & has many good restaurants.
VALENCIA (1 hour's drive north): Spain's 3rd largest city & thought to be more than 2000 years old, and a former Moorish capital. Sights include the Cathedral, the Silk Exchange, Ceramic Museum, & numerous art galleries. Sophisticated shops & magnificent covered food market. Don't miss the futuristic Science & Arts Museum.
JALON VALLEY (30 mins drive inland): Fabulous scenery & unspoiled Spanish villages. Here you can see how rural life in Spain has remained unchanged for centuries. Famed for its wine production. From the vantage point of Coll de Rates, it's possible to see the whole valley and, on a clear day, the island of Ibiza.
GUADLALEST: A mountain village 25kms inland from Benidorm - the 2nd most photographed place in Spain! The views from here are stunning. Built by the Moors to defend themselves from invasion, it is entered by going through a hole in the cliff face.
FONTS D'ALGAR: Situated on the way back from Guadalest - cascading waterfalls & fresh water pools where you can have a welcome swim after a hot day!
The Moraira / Benitachell area
AMENITIES: There are banks and 3 supermarkets within 5 mins. drive, and a huge choice of restaurants offering all kinds of international cuisine. There are also many rural restaurants to try within easy distance offering set menus at low prices.
NEARBY BEACHES: The villa is 10 mins drive from the beaches at Moraira (wide, sandy beach), El Portet (a sandy, picturesque bay with wonderful views). Both of these beaches are suitable for children. The beach at Cumbre del Sol, which is secluded & virtually undeveloped, is also 10 mins drive. They all have toilets & restaurant facilities. Javea is 15 mins drive, has large, sandy beaches & a huge choice of restaurants. In addition, there are many unspoiled coves and viewpoints to discover within easy driving distance.
ACTIVITIES: There are an abundance of activities available locally including water sports, boat trips, golf, tennis, cycle hire, horse riding, fishing, and go-karting.
GOLF: Javea Golf Club is just a few minutes drive, and there are also golf courses between Moraira and Calpe (10 mins drive) and Denia (20 mins drive).
LOCAL PLACES TO VISIT: MORAIRA (10 mins drive): Formerly a small fishing village - now an up-market town retaining a village atmosphere. Beautiful beach, excellent selection of bars & restaurants, & lively shopping area, including a market on Friday mornings. On summer evenings, a small craft market is held in the town, and there is often live music in the main square - lovely to listen to whilst you are eating al-fresco at one of the restaurants that surround the square. In mid-June, the town stages its annual "Moors & Christians" fiesta which is spectacular. It includes a "battle" around the castle, and culminates in a grand parade with fantastic costumes and floats. Not to be missed!
JAVEA (15 mins drive): A fascinating mix of old & new - lovely beach, huge choice of restaurants in the port area, and an un-spoilt old town which is fun to explore.
BENITACHELL & TEULADA (both 10 mins drive): Small typical Spanish towns with narrow streets full of pretty houses, and both have street markets on Wednesday mornings.
DENIA (25 mins drive): Historic major town, a castle proudly surveying the port., and good beaches. You can drive to Denia over the Montgo (Sleeping Elephant) mountain, which is a national park.

Great place to stay and relax, very HOMELY it was nice to have it equipped with a few extras like Kitchen & Loo Roll washing up liquid & cleaning agents. It did say washing machine but didn't have one (if you have children) one review mentions Sky TV this is FREE-VIEW not Sky if that is important to you! The property is a short drive to the local beaches but exploring is also worth while All in all we had a lovely time and were more than happy with the accommodation provided at Casa Holly. We will stay again sometime in the future. Response: There is a washing machine and it´s situated under cover just outside the property. I don´t know how these particular guests missed it - but we have now amended the property description to clarify this point. |

Casa Holly offers a spacious living area, more than enough room for a family of four. The villa itself is located in a pretty area and is only a 5 -10 minute drive to the centre of Moiraira where there were some great restaurants and bars, some lovely shops and a night time market. The villa is situated very near the communal pool which was very handy as the weather in August was extremely hot. The villa was spotlessly clean, the air conditioning, BBQ and washer were well used as was the Sky TV when our teenagers frequently caught up with the Olympic Games which were taking place. All in all we had a lovely holiday and were more than happy with the accommodation provided at Casa Holly. We would love to stay again sometime in the future. |

This little villa was perfect for two adults and a toddler. All on one level, lockable gates in garden meant that we could totally relax knowing the baby couldn't escape! The pool is right next to the villa and has a very shallow end for children and a deeper end for the adults, and although we visited at the height of the season, the pool was never crowded.. The supermarket is three minutes drive away. Nice touches like adapters and mosquito plugs supplied. Ten minutes drive into Moraira and to the beach at El Portet. |

PRICES shown are for up to 2 people or 3-4 people and are inclusive of cleaning before & after your stay, water, gas, electricity, towels and bed linen with a weekly or mid-term change on bookings in excess of 9 nights.
We are happy to accept bookings for part-weeks (subject to a minimum of 7 days), the extra days being charged pro-rata, and arrival/departure days are flexible.
25% of total cost is payable on booking (which must be paid in GB£), and the balance becomes due 8 weeks before departure. We can accept the balance payment in GB£ or euros.
In addition, there is £100 (or euro equivalent) security deposit (payable with the balance), which is refunded within 14 days of your return home, provided no major breakages or losses have been incurred, and we are in receipt of the keys.
The total cost plus security deposit will be payable on bookings made within 8 weeks of departure.
Payments are accepted by bank transfer. PayPal also accepted but will incur extra charges.
