Beautifully decorated and equipped single storey home in large secluded, secure garden. Private swimming pool. On edge of the medieval village of Montricoux on the River Averyon. Montricoux is the gateway to the gorges with its beautiful mountain scenery, canooing and walks.
The garden surrounds the house with plenty of seating around the pool. Two terraces with tables and chairs for a choice of eating area. Or sit under the pine trees for shade. The house is spacious for four people with a bathroom and separate w.c. and an en suite shower room from main bedroom, wtih patio doors opening to garden. Comfortable lounge with sofas for 7 people, with satellite tv and music facilities. Fully equipped american style kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, etc.
You can enjoy the house and pool or take a few minute walk into the medieval village with 3 bars, supermarket, post office, boulangerie. Montricoux has an interesting chateau to visit with a collection of Marcel Lenoir paintings. Or stroll to the river for fishing. Or pop into the shed/gym for a go on the cross trainer.

The Midi-Pyrenees / Tarn-et-Garonne region
Montricoux is the first of the Bastides villages in the Tarn et Garonne, close to Bruniquel one of the beautiful villages of France. Toulouse is approx 45 minute drive; Montauban 20 minutes. St Antonin 25 minutes.
Canooing, fishing, cycling. Montricoux is an interesting medieval village with chateau of Marcel Lenoir paintings. Throughout the summer there are music festivals, fetes and street markets in the village. In the nearest large town of Montauban there are many jazz festivals, markets and shops/restaurants.

Loads of seating areas - the whole family can find a secluded part of the garden for sunbathing or reading, or sitting under the pine trees in the shade. The pool is new and only 1m to 1.5 m. So it keeps really warm and most people can keep their feet on the ground! The garden and pool are lit for midnight bathing and partying. Poolside gas barbeque.
