The gite nestles in two acres of privately owned land with stunning views. There are three terraces, together with a shaded BBQ area to enjoy a relaxed lunch. There are adequate chairs, loungers etc. The house is a spacious house with a wonderful homely atmosphere and can sleep 6/8 people. There are double doors which open out straight onto the balcony.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, with cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer etc.
Just five minutes drive away is the village of Montricoux and Bruniquel, offering bars, boulangerie, supermarket and post office. There are wonderful historical sights to see in both villages.

The Midi-Pyrenees / Tarn-et-Garonne region
Montricoux is the first of the Bastides villages in the Tarn et Garonne, close to Bruniquel one of the beautiful villages of of France. Toulouse is approx 45 minute drive, Mountauban 20 minutes and St Antonin25 minutes.
The Montricoux area
Canoeing, fishing, cycling. Montricoux is an interesting medieval village with Chateau of Marcel Lenoir paintings. Throughout the summer there are music festivals, fetes and street markets in the village. In the nearest large town of Montauban there are many jazz festivals, markets and shops and restaurants.
The village of Montricoux has three bars, chemist, supermarket, hairdresser, doctor, post office with cash machine. Chataux and art gallery. Local villages with many bars and restaurants and interesting walks. Nearby St. Antonin is famous its canoeing down the Averyone Gorges and there wonderful market.
The village green also has a boules facility, swings, tennis court, outdoor table tennis and football play area.

A wonderful property that our family enjoyed more than any other property we have rented in the past five years. Well decorated and equipped with a beautiful pool and terrace that both have delightful views across the local valley. There is a very pleasant extended garden that leads through to local walks and horse trails. The house is very well suited to families but a car is required. The nearest town is an easy ten minute drive with good local facilities. we liked it so much we offered to buy the house from the owners |
