It is two minutes walk from the market square with its restaurants and bars and 100 metres from the nearest baker. It is arranged over three floors set against a 13th century tower. It opens into a lovely sunny garden.

Opening the garden door that leads to La Tour from la Rue du Petit Coquempot is like entering a fairy tale, for La Tour can only be described as ‘unique’. The Montreuil-sur-Mer / Montreuil area
Montreuil is a fortified market town ringed by ancient walled ramparts which look out over picturesque countryside. Victor Hugo gained inspiration for the character of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables while walking round these ramparts and they still remain much as they were when he visited Montreuil.
The town has manyhotels, bars and restaurants (including a couple of Michelin starred establishments), a theatre and cinema, some specialist wine shops, cheese shops, chocolate makers, antique shops, art galleries, an auctioneer and charcutiers and patissiers to satisfy even the most avid gastronome.
