The Northern France / Nord-Pas-de-Calais region
Manningham itself has a restaurant and several shops selling home produce. Nearby there is horseriding at Verchoq which is 5 minutes drive and also there are supermarket, shops, restaurant and full range of facilities in Hucqueliers villiage 2km.
The market town of Desvres with numerous local artisan shops, restaurants, indoor swimming pool is also within a 10 minute drive. Montreuil sur Mer with its citadel and ramparts is just 18 km by direct road and Le Touquet beach and Bagatelle aqualand waterpark - 23 kms. There are numerous golf courses, casino's and even a small airport in and around Le Touqet. Slightly further afield there is Boulogne fishing port and shopping centre which is 20 km away and also Calais port and City of europe shopping centre and designer outlets 70 kms.
Montreuil-sur-Mer area
Within a short drive you can discover the chic resort of Le Touquet and the vast sandy beaches hidden behind wild dunes. The little fish harbour of Etaples has interesting museums. The hinterland has various hilly landscapes where history is present, as in Agincourt or Crécy.
