Very pleasanty surprised at the style and quality of the accommodation and the quiet country location that was central to many of the desirable locations in the Dordogne area. Keith and Lindsay were the perfect hosts available with help and advice when needed but not intruding when not required. Very nice and very French welcome pack of food/drink was left for us on arrival and we were offered use of a barbecue, free boules and badminton. Keith gave us the option of fishing on his private lake with equipment available for hire. The gite was very well equipped with Sky Tv, dvd, cd player and board games. The kitchen with full gas cooker kettle toaster microwave fridge freezer and all necessary utensils. The bathroom with very good shower and all towels. The bedrooms with comfortable beds plenty of storage and quality bed linen....and all immaculately clean. Thanks Keith and Lindsay if you're unlucky you may well get us back again! |

Guestbook for Les Trois Chenes
Absolutely lovely peaceful week in a beautifully appointed, light and airy gite situated in a glorious garden surrounded by Dordogne countryside. Truly relaxing ! J&G
Great very comfortable new gite really well kitted out. The owner’s gardens around the gite are a delight and the lakes fantastic, the whole setting in the middle of countryside is beautiful and tranquil, definitely recommend, we plan to return. B&J
Les Trois Chenes in Nabinaud, just outside Le Pizou, is a most comfortable place to relax and unwind. The gite is clean and well equipped – the beds are comfy too. After a long hard day sightseeing, it is delightful to turn onto the drive and look forward to wandering around the 30 odd acres and just enjoy the freedom! And sitting on the patio, sipping wine and spying on the wildlife is a fine way to while away the evening. Lindsay and Keith are friendly and as unobtrusive as you want them to be, but their enthusiasm for the development of their grounds is catching! This is a smashing get-away-from-it-all place to stay.
