The house is a beautiful french house with lots of land and outside space to use as you wish. We were a party of two families with children and the children loved the pool! The house is enclosed , as you enter the large drive by electronic gates and our children loved the freedom. The house was big enough to house 2 families , as it has 2 large bathrooms and the bedrooms were bright and airy. The master bedroom with the en suite had the most spectacular views over the River Isle and the surrounding country side. The outside bar area was good fun too..... It is also in a great location for visiting the surrounding areas . Bordeaux is 1 hour away . St Emillion is a must see wine region to visit too. Montpon is also a fab town and the supermarkets in the town were 10 min drive away. The owners are very helpful and have an informative information sheet of local things to do. When ever I called him , nothing was too much bother and he was always happy to help. There helpful french neighbors were always on hand if you needed them too. Overall this holiday was excellent and even with our basic senior school knowledge of french , we all really embraced "A true French Experience" |
