Set in a 40 hectare estate, the chateau offers a peaceful and secluded vacation with several kilometers of walkways through our forest, private fenced pool, tennis court and 3 hole par 3 golf course in the park.
The interiors provide the level of luxury you would expect from high quality antique furnishings to fully modernised and equipped kitchens and bathrooms.

The Limousin and adjacent Poitou regions are the rural heartland of France containing numerous traditional villages, friendly locals and great food.
The region also boasts the Futuroscope theme park within an hours drive and numerous parks of interest including the Vallee de Signes, Iles aux Serpent and Crocodile Planet.
Markets in the region are some of the best in France and boasts one of the largest at Les Herrolles.
The Montmorrillon / Journet area
The chateau sits in the midst of a network of local walking paths that can lead you to the ancient Priory de Villesalem and many of the local hamlets on well marked and maintained tracks.
The area is perfect for cycling, whether a morning ride to the village to pick up breakfast at the boulangerie or a more demanding ride around the local villages.
The region is split by 3 major rivers (the Vienne, Gartempe and Creuse) which provide many opportunities for water activities and picnic afternoons.
Just to the north of the property is the Parc National de la Brenne which contains hundreds of small ponds and lakes, several of which have beaches, restaurants and water sport activities.
The nearest larger towns to the property are Montmorrillon (the city of writing and books) and Chauvigny which are well worth visiting for their medieval history and architecture and also for their thriving shops and markets.
St Savin is a UNESCO world heritage site having a large medieval monastry which can be visited to view the interiors and frescos, as well as to have a picnic by the river.
