Perfect for your holidays in Italy near Garda lake, Villa San Pietro Bed and breakfast is a recently restored 1600 Villa retaining all of its original character. It is in a particularly calm location in the centre of Montichiari, 13 km from Desenzano on Lake Garda and it is run by a young Italian-French couple.
Anna and Jacques are delighted to welcome their guests in very large and comfortable rooms: the Salmon Room, the Pink Room, the Blue Room, and the Loft with private bathroom , antiques, air conditioning for the summer and central heating for the winter months, with independent entrance. At the guests’ disposal there is a frescoed ceiling living room with a satellite TV, a common area with a fridge, private parking, a secluded garden with deck chairs and tables, a marbled-columned loggia where you can read a nice book in the summer nights.
Anna and Jacques speak Italian, English, French, and Spanish fluently and shall be glad to chat with you and let you know about local traditions and culture, they will also advise about your daily trips to: Verona, Lake Garda, Mantova, Sabbioneta, Cremona, Venise, the Botanical Garden Sigurtà etc.
Five tennis courts and an Olympic swimming pool (indoor & outdoor) only 2 minutes walking distance from the Villa. Two golf courses are located nearby (10 miles & 15 miles), one of which is a Jack Nicklaus Jr. design.

The Lombardy / Lake Garda Area
Montichiari is located in the Po Valley 14 km from Lake Garda with beautiful hills surrounding the town. The region is well know for its excellent wine and vineyards can be visited with Anna and Jacques upon request. Montichiari is located 45 km from Verona, Mantova, Cremona, 140 km from Venise and 100 km from Milan.

Montichiari is a lovely middle age town in the province of Brescia and it offers the 1700 Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the 1100 Abbey of San Pancrazio, the very elegant 1800 Theatre, all in wood, the History Museum, the Archaelogical Museum and the 1800 Castle Bonoris with its own Park.
We recommend that during their stay our guests visit Verona and its Arena lyric concerts, Milan and its La Scala Theatre and the Duomo, the Botanical Garden and the middle age village of Borghetto, Mantua, Cremona and Venise.
How to get there
In our hometown there is an airport called Verona Brescia and conneted by Ryanair to London Stansted by two daily flights. At 60 km there is the airport Bergamo Orio al Serio with Ryanair and Easyjet. At 45 km there is Verona Villafranca airport. At 100 km there are Milan airports. Great deals at Europcar and Hertz!

Further details indoors: In February 2005 some restoration works started in a second frescoed ceiling living room. A few original frescoes of 1500 were discovered and the restoration works continued for a few months and ended in September 2005. We are very proud of them!
Breakfast is served in the frescoed ceiling room or in the garden, but most of all, at Villa San Pietro you will find a family environment, a relaxing atmosphere : Anna and Jacques will do their best to make your stay unforgettable and let you feel at home away from our home……
Further details outdoors: Breakfast and dinner are served " al fresco" during summer months. The large garden and the loggia are very nice and comfortable: you will sit and relax all year round.
