About the home

Lovely south facing 2 bedroomed apartment within a traditional chalet offering great views all year round. It comprises a fully equipped new kitchen with dining table, a living room, a shower and a toilet. There is storage for skis and boots. It is a 2 minute walk from the pistes, ski school and lifts. South facing it has great views over the resort.

On the Italian border, Montgenevre is a great family resort with skiing for all levels. There is over 120km of local skiing which links to over 400km of Milky Way pistes -Sestriere, Sauze D'Oulx, San Sicario. A traditional resort celebrating 100 years of skiing, yet with a lot of modern amenities for a great holiday.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Hautes-Alpes region

Part of the Southern Alpes, this area boasts 300 days sunshine a year. It also has an excellent snow record. It is an area full of history going back to pre-Roman times. The region was fought over between the French and Italians for many centuries and there are many reminders of this throughout the local area.

Briançon - the highest town in europe has charming streets, museums and galleries. It has applied for UNESCO special interest staut.

Vallée de Clarée - another UNESCO protected area of outstanding beauty. Cross country skiing in the winter and beautiful walking for all levels in the summer.

Just a short distance from Italy - charming Italian mountain villages, great value restaurants begin 2 minutes from your door.

The Montgenevre area

Montgenèvre, a genuine village based on an ancient pass between Italy and France, was France’s first ski resort and is linked to over 400km of pistes. The area offers all the thrills and activities of the Alps with a blend of history and art. Montgenèvre has all the facilities of a modern resort whilst retaining its traditional charm. The restaurants and bars in the village offer a range of both traditional mountain fayre and popular dishes. These are complimented by the local shopping and weekly market.

Summer activities include: golf, walking, cycling (international events held here each year), rafting/kayaking, fishing, horse riding, tennis, swimming, boating lakes, luge...
