The flat San Giovanni is inside the main farmhouse of Consalvo estate, at top of a hill, surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean woods.

S. Giovanni apartment is the main apartment of Consalvo farmhouse and it is made up of 4 double bedrooms + two bathrooms and a wide living room with a fireplace on the 1st floor. Downstairs there is a wide dining room, kitchen, a third bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished.

The estate has a total area of 284 hectares.

The Tuscany region

Your accommodation is in the heart of Consalvo Estate, in the quiet of tuscan “ Maremma “ . Weather is generally nice and rain is extremely rare .

Florence and Pisa are within 1.5 hrs driving and you are in the ideal position to explore the territory of the mysterious Etruscan culture.

If you want to visit isola d’ Elba and other tuscan islands the ferry–boat leaves from Piombino (32 Km).

Leisure activities:

Inside Consalvo Estate: tennis, ping-pong, soccer table, in autumn hunting in game preserve, tourist flights from air strip, walks and mountain bike in private pathways.
Near Consalvo Estate: horse-riding (1 km), thermal bath of Caldana (19 km), beach (22 km), golf “Il Pelagone” (30km), golf “Punta Ala” (45 km).

The food is fantastic in the area: we recommend Pratella (0.5 Km); Campo Degli Agnelli (5 Km; price–quality ratio very good); Osteria Del Ghiotto (6 Km, very high quality meat); Otello at Venturina (19 Km, to eat very good fish).

Local wines are world known : Sassicaia by Marchese Incisa della Rocchetta, Ornellaia by Marchese Antinori and the wineries of Petra and Guado Al Melo by Prof. Scienza. You can organize your visits and wine tasting with the agency Fufluns in Suvereto. (Ph. 0565 827044)

How to get there

• By airline flight : Fly to Pisa then by private car or a rent car (88 Km).
You can check the flight to Pisa using the Site www.pisa-airport.com and you could find all the main rent car company in the airport.
• By private airplane : you can land in the private airstrip of Consalvo Estate.
• By train to Campiglia Marittima and then by car or taxi .
• By car :
COMING FROM NORTH : follow highway A 12 to Rosignano and then take the speedway to Venturina, then go inland follow road 398 pass Suvereto and then to the junction Monterotondo–Montioni turn left to Monterotondo, after 5 Km turn again left for Monteverdi Marittimo, after 500 mt you will be entering the estate. Go on for 1.8 Km and after the restaurant, on your right side, turn right on the dirt road (there is a sing) and you will be on your way to the farmhouse Consalvo, at the top of the hill.
COMING FROM SOUTH : from Grosseto take the speedway to Venturina, follow then the direction described as coming from north.
