The "Casa Azzurra" (5-6 people) is a typical Ligurian stone house which can be reached only on foot along a paved road (100 m. from the village).
The private garden with a typical wood-burning oven enjoys a breathtaking view of the old tower and the Gulf of La Spezia with the islands of Palmaria and Il Tino.
The house is on two floors (approx. 100 m2) and has been completely renovated using materials (terracotta tiles, stone) in harmony with the landscape.
A path through olive-grove terraces leads to the swimming pool shared with the owners of "la Torre".

The La Torre houses are a five minute walk from Montemarcello, a village located 300 metres above sea level.
The village of Montemarcello, which has recently been added to the list of the "100 MOST BEAUTIFUL MEDIEVAL VILLAGES IN ITALY" (Club "I Borghi più belli d'Italia"), can only be accessed on foot through the paved "carrugi" (narrow alleyways).
The village has two small restaurants, a grocery store that sells typical local foods and offers small-scale catering, a newspaper shop and two bars.
Montemarcello is located in the heart of the Montemarcello Nature Park, ideal for trekking enthusiasts who can reach the beaches and towns along the coast below.

At the foot of the mount (5 Km) along the estuary of the Magra river, lies the characteristic town of Bocca di Magra from which visitors can take a ferry that links the Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Portofino and many of the nearby beaches.
The area also offers a sports centre with tennis courts, an equestrian centre, a golf course and the possibility of hiring boats.
Forte dei Marmi, very well known known for its shops, 18 holes GOLF COURSE and its Wednesday and Sunday mornings OPEN MARKET, is just at 30 min drive from Le Case della Torre. During your stay, make sure to spend an evening at "La Capannina" or at the very trendy "Twinga" of Flavio Briatore.

Booking
After verifying availability of the week/s requested, a deposit of 50% of the total price is required to secure the booking.To be paid by bank transfer . The remaining balance of the rental sum is to be paid within 8 weeks prior to the arrival date, by bank transfer.
If the reservation is made less than 8 weeks prior to the first day of the stay, the booking will be confirmed upon payment of the entire amount.
Cancellation If a cancellation is requested more than 8 weeks in advance of the letting, then 80% of the deposit will be refunded.
If a cancellation is requested between 8 and 4 weeks prior to the letting, we will refund 20% of the entire rental already paid.
If a cancellation is requested in the 3 weeks prior to the arrival, then no refund available.
Cleaning The final cleaninig is charged €100 and is deducted from the breakage deposit. Tenants are asked to leave the property clean and tidy, put away all kitchen utensils, remove food and to ensure that they take all belongings with them.Should the property be left in a poor condition,requring more intensive cleaning, then this will be charged (€12 per hour) on top of the final cleaning and deducted from the breakages deposit.
Breakages deposit A breakages deposit of € 600 in cash is requested upon arrival at the property. The full amount will be refunded after the return of the keys to the owner, if no damage has been caused to the property.
Pets Pets are allowed upon request, with prior authorization of the owner. Please make request upon booking.
Conditions
A 10% discount will be applied for longer rentals (2 weeks and +) and for the booking of the house for the same period. Discounts are not cumulative.
