Hotel apartment | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 4
Set in the foothills of the Sibillini mountains and only a short distance to the beaches and with access to the facilities of the small, boutique hotel next door - infinity edge pool, restaurant and more. This apartment has the best of both worlds.....
Recently restored to a high standard the apartment has a spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, double bedroom, alcove off the main hallway with bunk beds for two children and a large bathroom with walk-in shower. Externally stairs lead down to a privately fenced brick courtyard area with table, chairs and a gas Bbq and with expansive views across the rolling Le Marche countryside all the way to the azure Adriatic coast. It is attached to boutique Hotel Leone with unrestricted access to all its facilities and is only minutes walk to local supermarket, bank and post office in the town.
The apartment has a fully-equipped luxury fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The living / dining area has an L-shaped leather settee, coffee table, flat screen Lcd television with a Bose home entertainment system attached. The bedroom has a matching suite of a king-size bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table and has a Juliet balcony from which to view the stunning countryside. The bathroom is fully fitted and has a large walk-in shower.
All bed-linen and towels (including pool towels) are provided. Once a week the apartment is cleaned and the linen and towels are changed. A more frequent service is available at an additional cost if required.
In addition the apartment has underfloor heating, a log burning fire in the main living area, a washing machine available for your use and, unlike most properties in the area, fast speed, free Wifi throughout - in the apartment, in the communal areas of the hotel and even at the swimming pool.
The apartment is ideally situated on the edge of the town, is completely independent but is also right next door to our small intimate, boutique hotel and all the facilities that has to offer - terrace bar with stunning views across the countryside, infinity edge swimming pool, restaurant with a wood burning pizza oven, salone - and all on your doorstep. Shops are within walking distance as is the restaurant attached to the hotel - so there's no need to drive out at night in search of a restaurant on the evenings you don't want to cook - just stay here and relax with a nice glass of our local wine!
You are free to pick and choose which of the hotel facilities you wish to use whether that's selecting a book from the bookcases in the salone or treating yourselves to breakfast in the hotel rather than preparing it yourselves. There's also the possibility of joining any of the organised activities arranged by the hotel - wine tasting, Montelparo tour and a visit to a local olive oil factory.

Montelparo is the perfect base as it is set mid-way between the mountains and the sea. It is a small, picturesque hilltop village 588 metres above sea level, is built of the lovely creamy brick so typical of southern Le Marche. It has panoramic views to the coast on one side and the spectacular Sibillini Mountains on the other.
As well as being home to one of only two museums found in Italy which hold a unique collection of antique bicycles, carts, hand carts and trolleys used by local craftsmen, Montleparo has a number of historic buildings dating as far back as the 13th century:
Sant'Agostino Monastery built in 1686 with the added church (1730)
The Palazzo Communale (18th century) preserving a valuable collection of parchments
The church of San Gregorio Magno (1615)
The Gothic church of San Michele Arcangelo (13th century) which has three exceptional portals: one Gothic, the other two Renaissance; its interior is full of frescoes from the 1500's, such as The Crucifixion, The Pieta and The Holy Father (1527)
Torre Civica (town tower, 1400)
