Maison Mirmande is set in a very private and peaceful setting in the beautiful village of Mirmande, Drome Provencale, France. Built in C18th this house represents a typical ‘maison de campagne’ in Provence.

This idyllic hideaway with a magnificent swimming pool (10m x 5m), boule court, table tennis and barbecue is self catering and spacious enough to cater for up to 10 people comfortably. Dining areas inside and out including an outdoor verandah which fronts onto a huge garden offers the perfect setting to relax.

The Rhone / French Alps / Drome region

The Drome Provencal has numerous villages, vineyards and traditional cuisine to enjoy - there is plenty of walking, cycling and horse riding to be done - the climate is very good with the changing of seasons being visually the most remarkable times...

The sea and mountains for skiing are close by and the countryside is made of many types fruit trees


Montelimar area

Montelimar is a sleepy provencal town 15kms from the village of Mirmande (which is voted one of the prettiest in France) - there is a wonderful market every Saturday morning, as well other atcivities such as the cinema, sport centre etc

there are many festivals around the villages and a host of sight seeing to be done in the Ardeche, Vaucluse, Avignon etc all withing 40 mins drive

Conditions

The house is available to rent all year round with the minimum amount of time being one week for a rental...the house has a cleaner and handy man who are both on hand as my neighbours.

The house costs 2,000 EUR per week all year apart from in high season (July & August) when it is 2,500 EUR
