About the home

Villa Romana is set in the countryside with access to the historical town of Montefrio via a country lane (15 mins). Ideal for families as teenagers can walk to town where there is a municipal lido,shops,cafes etc..

The fully fitted kitchen is next to the private pool area where there are table and chairs plus a gas barbeque for al fresco dining. Very safe for young children as there is a child proof gate between the kitchen and pool area.

This traditionally decorated spanish villa is cool and comortable during the summer and cosy in the winter months with rustic brick log burning fireplace.
Lounge has a large oak dining table that can seat 8 persons.
TV and DVD player with large selection of movies provided.
All linen and towels provided
Mosquito netted windows and room fans in the bedrooms.
Kitchen fully fitted with microwave.
Utility room with washing machine etc.

Front garden has long gravel driveway bordered with roses and iron gates. Private parking space for 4 cars.
The front garden is a cultivated vegetable garden maintained by local farmer so organic vegetables can be bought directly from your own front door.
Private gated swimming pool is surrounded by a grass lawn and is enclosed with another gate to rear.
Rear land is an olive grove and has 2 ponies stabled who maintain the grass levels for us !

Deposit of 40% is required for reservation.
Balance payment 60 days prior to start of holiday.
Last minute bookings need to pay full amount on day of arrival.
A £200 deposit is payable (in advance with final balance payment). It will be returned to you, subject to any appropriate deductions) at the end of your stay.
Arrival time is 2pm onwards and departure day by 10am toallow for changeovers unless agreed otherwise with Tracie.

Conditions

Changeover dates flexible, must be agreed with owner.
Saturday to Saturday during high season
Owners are happy to arrange midweek hand-overs where possible to coincide with cheaper midweek flights.

The Andalucia / Granada Province region

Montefrio is on the Route of Washington Irving, which is the historical road that links Malaga, Seville and Granada and has many fascinating walks and is popular with cyclists worldwide. There is also a wealth of landscapes which have a variety of birds and wild flowers for nature enthusiasts. The town itself has a good selection of bars and restaurants and 2 swing parks. There is also a local lido with restaurant for a fun day locally. The house is ideally situated near to town for local supermarkets and banks and the local 24 hour clinic is a 5 minute drive.
