It is situated 4 km from the beautiful Montefalco village and is also near Assisi, Spoleto, Trevi and Perugia. The pool is large at 10 x5 mt, with a depth of 1,80 mt. In the center of Italy, Umbria is one of the most interesting areas for art, history and culture. The beautiful countryside and the famouse towns of Assisi, Spello, Montefalco, Bevagna, Spoleto, Todi, Orvieto, Perugia, Trevi, Marmore falls and Trasimeno lake are nearby.

Every year, around Easter, the town enjoys an important festival called Settimana Enologica, or 'Wine Week'.
