Seafront unit separated from the beach only by an ample beachfront promenade. This quiet unit, high above the hustle and bustle of the streets below, has two bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower level. The upper level features a second bathroom and an ample Great Room, with kitchen, dining and lounge areas, that opens to two large terraces via floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors.
From the bedroom balconies and the rear rooftop terrace your eyes will spread over the whitewashed roof terraces and terracotta roofs of Monte Gordo, typical of southern Portuguese architecture, towards the low lying hills of Serra do Caldeirão, the natural reserve tidal marshlands, all the way to Ayamonte (Spain) on the other side of the Guadiana river.
From the penthouse Great Room, you will be mesmerised by the view of the pristine blue waters of the ocean. The view from the front terrace encompasses the entire beach, the forest reserve that surrounds Monte Gordo, the beachfront promenade, and extends, towards west, to the coastal sandbar islands of Tavira and Armona.

The Algarve region
Algarve's 200 kilometres of southern shoreline is one of Europe's most popular holiday destinations. Its stunning coastline, excellent golf courses and pleasant year round climate attract millions of tourists a year. Bordered on two sides by the Atlantic, the Algarve is divided from the rest of Portugal by a series of low lying mountains. In the east, the Guadiana river forms a scenic border with neighbouring Spain. The rugged coastline and more tourism-oriented lifestyle of Western Algarve contrasts with the tranquil beauty of Eastern Algarve with its extensive, less crowded, golden sand beaches, warm waters and protected tidal marshlands. Here, the many small resorts along the coast have retained much of their character, keeping the charm of long ago. Here, tourism blends in perfectly with local activities creating a relaxed way of life.
Monte Gordo area
