"Bellevue Cottage is an absolute delight."
We have stayed in several gites in France and Bellevue is no.1 on our list. Superb location quiet, rural and fantastic countryside. Ideal for exploring Cognac, Aubuterre, local chateau and musuems. Nearby is a lake with beach excellent when weather is hot. A warm welcome from the owners who are on hand with local information etc. Accommodation is well equipped and comfortable. A garden to relax and enjoy the ambience. The only downside is leaving to come home.

"Beautiful gite in a stunning location, a little gem we'll return to again and again."
We wanted a quiet two weeks somewhere in a good location for touring the region - this gite was perfect, we could not fault it. Set in stunning countryside, equipped with everything anyone could need, really nicely done with lovely owners that left us to get on with it but were there if we needed them. So many lovely things to do in the area, a short drive to swimming, canoing and some fantastic local restaurants - although relaxing with a BBQ and a bottle of the local wine in the gite garden meant we didn't tour as much as we'd planned to!
