About the home

Le Breuil is an extremely spacious barn conversion full of character and charm with exposed beams, double height ceiling with tiled and wooden floors. Beautiful rural views.Huge open plan living room, dining room and games room.The house has Wi Fi. The living room has a 50 inch plasma TV with satellite that has full sports and films, DVD player with films,CD player, large fire place. The games room has a pool table and table football. The dining room has a table for 12, leading on to a large kitchen with a table for 8 leading out to a terrace with a table for 6. Off the dining room is a large terrace with a table for 12 next to the swimming pool. Outside there is a shed with bicycles, a boules area, outdoor tabletennis and an unmarked football pitch with goals,BBQ.

The 5 bedrooms consist of a 6 foot bed with a memory mattress, two 5 foot beds, three single beds and a single bed with bunk beds. There are 4 showers and a bathroom.

5 Min away by car (or slightly longer by bike!) there are two small villages. One is called Charras which has a bakery, tabac (like a pub) and corner shop the other is called Marthon which has tennis, a bakery, tabac, pizzeria,hotel restaurant,bank and local shops. 15 minutes away by car is a market town called Montbron, which has a large supermarket,castle,professional golf course, pitch and putt,shops and restaurants.Market day is on a Saturday. The region is rich in architecture with plenty of châteaus and ruins to explore. Nearby there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy activities such as golf, fishing, tennis, walking, horse riding.

Abbey de Borchaud (20 miles) a grand 12th Century cisterian abbey and monestary where summer concerts are held.
