La Cachette, meaning ‘Hideaway’ is a traditional French villa set inside a quiet hamlet in the foothills of beautiful Pyrenees, 15 miles south is the lively town of Perpignan. The surrounding dramatic mountainous terrain adds an extra dimension to its romantic and serene setting by providing areas of rivers, canyons, caves, gorges and green valleys in nearby hamlets and villages.
Often enjoying 300 days of sunshine and blue skies, La Cachette is a short drive away from the Spanish border and you can reach the nearest beaches in approx half an hour through an exploration of quaint coastal villages and French communities. There is an excellent range of restaurants, bars and shopping facilities nearby. We recommend this area for natural beauty, diversity, culture and cuisine. Bathrooms: Part-tiled bath with shower, vanity basin and WC.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and laundry facilities. There is a good range of food storage and preparation areas with all the cooking utensils you will need. Gas boiler.
Living Rooms: 3 seater Catalonian style sofa and 2 easy chairs and coffee table. Take your Digibox and handset as a Sky dish is installed. Just plug our lead into your box and your scart lead into the TV and you have all the home entertainment comforts
Other: Dining area with a view of the hills from the French window there is large dining table, 6 chairs and dresser unit.
Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: Linen service is available
